HE ran and held all night i happy he got a point taken away i had it 115-113n for froch. very close fight would of bee a 1 point win if not for the Point. but he was ****ing holding alot. I think it will be Kessler and AA in the Finals. AA is going to take Dirrells head off

I had Froch winnin by a pt.I thought Derrill left it too late. The early round were close. You might be impressed by his one-two punches and run but judges like the fighter who shows warriorness. And clearly Derrill didn't want a engaged Forch he was intimidated IMO and I understand being, young in a hostile crowd and with a big strong british fighter pressuring him.I though Dirrell came back at the end but it was too late. Forch is all right him and Kessel will be more of a real fight.

Dirrell won this fight clearly, he had pretty good footwork and reflexes. Hell be ok but he has a tougher fight with Abraham and he needs to step up his offensive. Froch is a POS though he didn't give Dirrell any credit.

Agreed I think the point deduction was well deserved. There's holding and there's Dirrell holding.

There was no desire and that pissed me off. You have a guy wide open for punches you OBVIOUSLY CAN LAND at will and HAVE LANDED, why not keep throwing?

That idiot poster up there will come and tell you that he's scared of the Sugar Ray Leonard style counters, put those bartenders on ignore. Froch was TOO slow to counter back and that was proven till the end. He was ****ing rocked/wobbly from a single HOOK not the other way around late in the fight.

Dirrell isn't garbage. He put on a decent performance considering the pressure he was in. He's a good defensive fighter and he embarrassed Froch at times. He definitely deserved the decision.

Did you watch the last 3 rounds? Didn't Dirrell showed there that he wanted to win? I know what you mean but comon, the guy gave a good performance that should have
    been rewarded with a victory.

Dirrell would have had a chance of winning the fight if he'd actually fought for more than 2 rounds. After he got the point (rightly) deducted he came out firing and showed what he was made of. You can win by defensive boxing, but he didn't do enough early on to justify a decision. He is an incredibly fast boxer with brilliant ring awareness and reflexes, but unless he shows more aggression he will never do much. Perhaps for the purists he should have won on points, but I would not pay for fights when there is only evasive action. A victory for entertainment because negative fighting to that degree is too dull.

Dirrell fought like he thought that a little of this and a little of this is enough.....

First when his corner told him that he needed a KO did he wake up and then he put on a masterclass rounds 11 and 12. Do that from the beginning and I would pity the guy in the other corner.
