He did win the fight though. When did Froch land clean? I need to rewatch it because Dirrell landed the cleaner shots by far. Honestly the broadcasters showed the same Froch punch over and over again. The same one when Dirrell was backing up.
Yep, I felt the same thing. You can't go into the champ's backyard and run, clinch, fall, etc. The Dirrell we saw in the last fourth of the fight (actually not the 12th) I anticipated seeing the entire fight. He should have boxed circles around this guy. During one portion of the fight I thought I was seeing Curtis Stevens flashbacks.
The fight was dirty as hell. And Dirrell actually was doing better when he exchanged. Froch is as slow as lava. Dirrell complained too much but i still thought he edged the fight.
I am waiting for Mackie's ***** ass excuse for this. Dirrell landed a **** load of punches..lol Why didnt Froch? Can you win a fight if the other guy out lands you 2 to1? The point is Dirrell did run but we all knew he would. But he was scoring the whole entire time. He was not missing his punches. Froch NEVER even got his offense going. LOL ****ing dumb asses.
well after Kessler Takes out Ward he's Getting froch you won't have to wait too long for him to be out cold.
Yuo're deaf. Dirrells shots were followed by noting while Froch's shots were followed by impact sounds. Clean effective punching. Thats what counts, and Dirrell only landed them in the last three rounds.
Its the Euro standard. That fight was exciting to them b/c Abraham was winning despite doing it in dull boring non throwing punches fashion. :rofl The only exciting part was the last shot and I think a shot in round 10. The rest was just boring bull****.
Dirrell is not garbage, but as expected he didn't have the experience to capitilize on his strengths as often as he should have. He had too much respect for Frochs power. Respect is healthy, but it was borderlining on being scared. Froch was slow as a snail, no sense of timing, distance or had any precision. Yes, Dirrell was hard to catch, and utilized his speed to get out of range - but he didn't score a whole lot, even though Froch was open as a barn door.
You are a bitter viewer. You say dull, I say smart, and Taylor is currently in the hospital and was behind on pts. You are boring tbh.
:rofl:rofl:rofl LOL yeah that **** irratated the **** out of me. if i wanted to watch that much holding i would watch MMA :-(. BErto did hold like all hell when he fought Urango. i don't mind holding to survive but if your not hurt ! why the **** are you holding! Not wanting to exchange . and running is bad theres foot work and then there is back peddling . b-hop vs Kp is foot work turning your opponet, side steping taking a feew steps back(no more then 3).:verysad
I don't know man, the only other fight of his I've seen was against Stevens and he really ran in that one. I don't mind a guy moving and being defensively minded, Mayweather is one of my favorite fighters to watch but what Dirrell did tonight was garbage. HIs problem is, he isn't a fighter, a very good boxer but there isn't enough fight in him. I mean, after what Froch did to him all night why the hell would you even go near him after the fight let alone hug him. No fight The last two rounds did show promise though, if he could do that for 12 rounds he would be the man at 168
