He fought a close, competetive decision with Froch.

 

And what Froch and Bute have in common style wise ? Bute is a southpaw who's faster and bigger then Froch and move a lot better then Carl , Carl have the better jab but it's irrevelant since one is right handed and the other is a southpaw!

Can't compare Froch and Bute, Froch has fought against ALL top level SMWs, whereas Bute has fought NONE OF THEM.

 

Froch has a sub par defense and worse handspeed than Bute for sure. Dirrell couldn't do to Bute half what he's done to Froch in the 3 last rounds of their fight, purely based on the differences in movement and handspeed.




Dirrell wouldn't KO Bute, Bute wouldn't KO Dirrell. This would be a stinker with low activity on both sides IMO.

 

Magee landed over 35% of his straight left hands.

Dirrell is just in a different league physically and technically, he'd crack Bute's china whiskers early.

 

I think we'll actually see this fight at LHW if it doesn't happen at SMW.

Bute UD Dirrell in a stinker. Once Bute will have gotten tagged around his jab, and once Dirrell will have felt a couple of Bute's body shots, both fighters will be negative in the ring waiting to set up the perfect counters. Ya **** that.

 

Blah blah blah, Bute never fought anyone EVEN NEAR Dirrells level, yet he's supposed to beat him on points, yeah right....

 

Again, reverse the statement and it's also true.

 

He fought Froch and a lot of people thought he won that fight, in Nottingham.

Froch is rightfully ranked ahead of Bute. Are you ******ed?

 

You still don't get the reason why going 12 in a close fight with Froch is not a valid point in trying to back up a "Dirrell KO Bute" statement.

Dirrell never fought someone that was close technically, close in effective power counterpunching or even close in handspeed to Bute. There.

 

They should fight, I'm sure Showtime will want it.


Finally we can see this Bute nonsense end, in glass shattering fashion.

 

In fact like I said yesterday that's the fight I think Showtime will be putting together (as opposed to Ward or Hopkins, or no-hopers like Green) to meet the great American criteria, and get Ward's seal of approval.

Hard to sell the fight though. Dirrell is the definition of PR nightmare... especially when the fans are expecting one of Froch or Ward to fight Bute.
