nope, i dont buy 1/2 the hype. He never intended, and still dont intend on fighting and losing to Ward. If he did intend, he was scheduled to fight him and he would have. The concussion recovery claim is bull****. IF Froch wins, then Yes, he will attempt a fight with him. He had already a near-victory against Froch in his homecourt.

To be out of boxing THIS LONG to hide a fake injury is shameful. Fortunately, its his loss, not mine lol. Compared to the average damage a fighter gets to his head for 12rounds vs a GRAZING blow from AA, he sure has suffered an extensive amount of recovery....

If Dirrell can beat Allan Green, then maybe he can have a crack at the LOSER of Kessler/Bute. Then he can go after whoever the top guy in the division is.

Dirrell for all intents and purposes has made himself unmarketable. Where's his highlights? Where's his big fights? Who's interested in watching him? Dirrell just doesn't bring anything to the table. He needs to earn his way up.

    Don't be simple!

Dirrell has already beaten Abrahams and arguably, Froch.
So, what's this Allan Green BS spilling of of your ignorant lips.

Bute has fought nor beaten NO ONE (Not even an Allan Green), yet you place him within the upper ranks. Sorry dude. This ain't no Dana White series. :rofl:rofl

Every real super middleweight that Abraham fought has beaten him. Dirrell's performance was by far the least convincing, what with being dropped and then bitching out when things got real.

You can argue Dirrell beat Froch, but it was no real beating. You might argue he should possibly have 'escaped with the decision,' but I'd strongly disagree.

Fact is Dirrell hasn't done **** yet. He's on the same level as Green imo. Maybe a notch higher with the Abraham win, but I suspect Green would have beaten Abraham as well.

Bute is still in the 'not sure about this guy' stage, but he hasn't rally had an opportunity to prove himself on the big stage yet. Dirrell has, and has come up woefully short. Therefore he can get in line. If Bute proves to not be what we think he is, then him and Dirrell could make for a good matchup. But Bute deserves a shot, at least if he can get by Kessler or another top guy who's proven himself. Dirrell hasn't even had a tuneup fight yet. You don't just jump back into title contention after that kind of performance.

    Fact:
If Dirrell after defeating AA and giving a strong showing against Froch has in your opinion, "Not done ****", then how can you possibly offer these lame ass excuses for Bute who has not only had overwhelming opportunity for the last three years, but unlike Dirrell, has never ever stepped up to face anyone of significance, in his entire career.
    No matter what your skewed opinion is of Dirrell, The FACTs are;
    -He's faced and defeated AA
-He's faced and lost a razor thin decision to Froch while making Frock look like an amateur. :yep
-Dirrell will always be rated above Bute who faced faced, no one. Bute's career is starting out exactly like Joe Calzaghe and Kessler's s early careers; Home bodies fighting every bum in their locale. :rofl

I think Dirrell in the meantime should schedule a fight ..Hell Kessler just did ..If he wants to keep busy he needs more than sparring sessions ...

Why should he fight the loser? What sense does that make? Do you not want Dirrell to fight the best?

Why would either of the two finalists want to fight Dirrell? He brings nothing.

the thing about dirrell is he has talent...real athletic boxer but his mind/heart is not in the right place at times...which is what has made him frustrating to watch in his fights so far

Dirrell's showing against Froch was one of the worst meltdowns I've ever seen from a prospect in his first title shot. It was a close fight due only to the fact that Dirrell held incessantly. I mean, that was some serious holding going on there...not to mention the running and falling. Sure, Dirrell had his moments late in the fight, but that was probably more due to Froch pulling out all the stops and jut going for him than anything. And I went into that fight HATING Froch and pulling for Dirrell.

The AA fight was impressive until the home stretch when AA started getting to Dirrell. I'm still of the opinion that he bitched out, but that was AA's fault. Fact is that Froch made AA look like an amateur and a punching bag, hardly took a shot the entire fight. Dirrell, supposedly a slick fighter, was put on his ass and was being tracked down with increasing success.

Bute holds a title and is defending it against the #1 challenger. He shares a win over Bika with Ward. He's undefeated.

Dirrell has been beaten in his title shot (while disgracing himself), then sidelined by an 'injury' for a looong time. Long enough that he's not rated by the Ring or any other organization. Had an opportunity to fight Ward and never did it. Dirrell has looked vulnerable in fights with journeymen.

Bute has obliterated everyone he's faced and savagely avenged his only bad performance by becoming the only guy to stop Andrade.

Even you would have to admit that when it comes to beating up C-level fighters, Bute is better than Dirrell. And since we already know that Dirrell has a mental breakdown whenever he fights a big fight, we have to give Bute the benefit of the doubt since he hasn't had a shot yet.

Furthermore, Bute has always been rated higher than Dirrell by the Ring and the sanctioning bodies. Why? Because Dirrell's lone accomplishment is a DQ win against AA. That's it. The same Abrahm who's been beaten down in both his subsequent fights. That is not impressive.

Bute at least has a long list of solid but not quite big-time fighters. He shares wins over Andrade with Kessler, and wins over Miranda and Bika with Ward. How many Canadian bums has Bute faced?

I have no problem with you thinking Dirrell is better than Bute, but the fact is that Bute is much more deserving of a shot at the unified champ than Dirrell is. Dirrell took himself out of the game and now needs to rebuild against some solid opponents. Bika, Steiglitz, Sartison, etc. A rematch with Froch has to happen at some point, but not right now. If Froch loses to Ward, then he'll rematch Kessler before taking a crack at the title again. If Froch wins, he'll rematch Kessler or fight Bute. If Ward wins, he'll rematch Kessler or fight Bute. All signs point to Kessler vs. Bute to determine who faces the winner of Froch vs. Ward.

Dirrell is rightfully going to be left out in the cold. IMO he stepped up in class before he was ready and is now paying the price.
