Nobody wants to see Dirrell vs Froch again, and he blew his chance at facing Ward cause he's a b#tch.

Dirrell can go **** himself big time. The guy had his chance (more than once) and ****ed it up.

i really wanted to see dirrell vs ward...i truly believed that dirrell had the type of physical advantages to beat ward...not only that he had a title shot waiting for him..and the fight didn't come off because they were friends? ridiculous

Actually not. He passed his "audition" against Arthur Abraham with excellence. This morning's news has it that Dirrell is in line to take over after Ryan Dunn as one of the jackasses.:thumbsup

Honestly, I don't think the winner of the Super Six should fight him. He doesn't deserve it. I say that as a BIG fan of Dirrell.

Why? That person persevered through bar none one of the TOUGHEST tournaments ever. I honestly haven't seen so many well regarded fighters fighting back, to back, to back in recent history. Why go through that to reward a guy who dropped out? Doubly so without a verified/hard to verify injury.

The winner of the Super Six should be fighting a huge name. Period. Dirrell needs to fight the LOSER of the tournament and/or other guys who dropped out (besides Abraham). I would love to see Dirrell against Kessler, Froch (if he loses), Johnson, etc... All boxing fans would.

Dirrell needs to claw his way back into contention. Period.

I would love to see Dirrell vs Ward. I think Dirrell could beat Ward due to athleticism and awkwardness, makes the fight interesting. I see this potentially being a modern day Bhop vs Jones when they were younger.

Considering that there are only 4 "huge" names in the super middleweight division, Froch, Dirrell, Kessler and Bute. With Kessler, and Dirrell pulling out. Bute never participating, and Froch vs Ward already going to be decided. Who do you propose the winner fights?

Lets interject some reality in here.

Consider the fact that HBO was throwing around big money figures to get Ward and Dirrell to their network after the tournament. Consider that Bute is very unwilling to fight outside of Canada.

Dirrell vs Ward could possibly be the only big fight to be made.

I mean seriously "build himself" up. LOL! This is boxing tards. You get shots based on marketability, not who's more deserving, when considering that Bute has beaten **** all as a fighter, he is in no way shape or form ahead of Dirrell in the stakes. ESPECIALLY since he wont leave Canada.

Being honest here, I think both fighters (Ward/Froch) have differing options. I think Froch rematching Kessler or Ward (if the fight is close enough) does better than Dirrell. Froch is in a much better position than Ward regardless of outcome. Still Ward would be better served fighting others. Maybe even doing catchweight bouts (Hopkins, Martinez, etc...). Bute blows Dirrell out of the water for either fighter and might be worth going to Canada for. Remember, Bute not participating trumps dropping out. In either case, I only see Ward facing Dirrell. Froch wants no parts of that unless he has to get it.

Check my post history. I defended Dirrell to the fullest. I am a big fan of his. I just don't see any of the top guys from the Super Six wasting time against him as he doesn't bring much to the table... but risk. Dirrell is dangerous as hell. Too good for his own good.

I think with a bit more experience to mentally toughen him? He will be the premier Black fighter of the US. The Super Six might have been too much too soon.
