This made the BBC news!! Wow.

The fist time I've heard the fight get any coverage outside a passing mention on the odd sports show.

4ounces is very little, Dirrel will make it, problem is he might affect his physical condition for tomorrow's fight.

If you look at him at the weight in you will see that he is completelly cut, so it won't be easy.

Any news people, should be done by know. I really didnt think he'd have trouble making the weight, he isn't that big when I saw him at Buncey's and he is so cut as 11player mentioned. But I really can't tell if thats a large amount of weight, what do people think?
I really thought he'd take his boxers off as well to make it, or was that a fantasy either way he should have!

this is bad news for Dirrell, the odds were stacked against him already but having problems with the weight against a stalker and super conditioned fighter like Froch who's good in the latter rounds is big a problem, makes me even more convinced of a Froch victory here, 4 ounces may not seem a lot to the regular person, but when you're a finely tuned athlete with very little mass its a huge thing, if it wasn't a problem he would've made it in the first attempt.

It just shows they were slack not checking themselves on the official scales beforehand.

Not sure how much a big deal this 4 oz is, if it can, and was shed in an hour. maybe after froch's taunt's of makin weight dirrel choose to leave the last few ounces on knowin he will be givin time to lose them. Goes has his **** and **** maybe little jog, comes back under the limit. I'm thinkin mind games, is he tryin to lure carl into thinkin he's strugglin more than thought but will come out fightin fit, tryin to catch carl off guard? I know froch is disciplined enough not to take an opponant lightly. Just a thought.
