Aside from Dirrell, we CANNOT discount what Abe did to Taylor a few months ago........ No foul there..... Just a CLEAN and SOLID Knockout by Abe........... Taylor is not shot; he was good and ready to rumble in that fight / effort.... Abe was just too strong........ MR.BILLthumbsup
Just shut the **** up. You disqualified yourself from being taken seriously. I saw your other thread. You don't know ****, you are as confused as abraham was after he got beat around the ring for 11 rounds, and had to take the ***** way out.
That Abe is a good boxer with skill and has very good power (Not Great Power) even up at 168 pounds...... The other 168 pounders must take note there..... MR.BILLthumbsup
Art Abe is short at 5' 9" tall, but again, he has a big upper body... He carries his weight around well.... He also looks like he's well conditioned.... At first glance, Art Abe doesn't appear as tuff or as good as he actually is.... Abe has a deceiving look about him..... Yet make no mistake, the guy can fight........ MR.BILL
That's not a very controversial statement -- although he was not very impressive against AD, lets face it.
taylors middleweight, Abe in with healthy strong powerful supermiddleweights that all can crack, i kept my 100 percent record in the super six predictions, just check my threads, and i say again and i put solid cash on it that froch will stop abe by body shot around the fourth round!!! all might be surprised, but i can guarantee that froch will not be on back foot and it be arthur back peddaling when he dawns that these men are bull strong! he was surprised how strong dirrel was
At first, I too thought Abe was way off key in this recent fight. Dirrell was merely using good speed and a slick southpaw stance on Abe..... Abe was off key for 6 to 7 rds..... BUT! He started coming on strong.... Abe had been decked and was cut.... To roar back like he did in round 11, shows courage, heart and determination to win.... A lesser man would've folded like a beach chair after taking what Abe took early on from Dirrell...... :deal MR.BILL
Yes he is. Most people felt that he shouldn't have even been in the tournament to begin with. I was actually surprised that it took Abraham almost a full 12 rounds to get him out of there.
How did he roar back in the 11th? He was losing the round and then punched a man out of frustration who had slipped and was not looking. I assume you've seen the video?
I think Taylor's problem is more so he was NOT as good or great as folks made him out to be early on....... PLUS! He became rich off HBO and the two fights with Hops....... Taylor cruising around Arkansas in a black Lamborghini and suddenly becoming the talk of the town also hindered his focus and desire........ Taylor is still young at age 30.... MR.BILL
This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected I dont know, I always thought he looked like some kind of soviet cyborg program gone wrong :yep
From what I saw, it looked like Abe was coming on and Dirrell was beginning to wilt...... I'm sure Abe felt time was running out on him..... Had the knockdown/foul not occurred in round 11, I'd liked to have seen this fight as a scheduled 15 rounder....... 12 rounders sometimes leave questions to be answered.... I don't think Dirrell had much gas left in his tank after round 10..... Had the fight gone the full 12 SCHEDULED rds, I'm sure Dirrell would've gotten the decision...... MR.BILL:hat
I never thought Taylor was any good myself, but getting knocked out in 3 of your last 5 fights makes it look even worse. He's only 30, but Fernando Vargas, Erik Morales, and David Reid were even younger when they were done.
