At this point you should not even humor those that say he is faking. They are only doing it to flame and get a reaction. Even without all the accusations who would act like he did if they were acting ? Dude was knocked senseless. Just watch his reaction after they get him back up.
Scary that the people saying that Dirrell was `faking` it... Pretty easy to say from the comfy recliners... The crying and disorientation was great acting too... The only thing AA did was strip Dirrell of a clean dominating performance, capped with a UD! AA stop whining, and get your ass back in the ring. Learn from it, like Dirrell did against Froch, and be better for it. What a sore loser...
I'm still not buying it. Abraham couldn't crack an egg. No way a feather fisted ***** like Arthur Abraham could cause any damage to a guy sitting on his ass with his legs split.
Yeah thats kinda funny....I'm actually a medical student and thats pretty much exactly what I thought. I haven't been following any of the threads, or articles or anything. Now I'm not going to act like an expert or anything because frankly I'm still in the classroom and this isn't exactly the type of thing that you see everyday. But with regards to the "Siezures" this was pretty much exactly what I was thinking. It certainly doesn't look like a seizure. The interesting thing is that they teach us to recognize fake siezures (people try to confabulate them more often then you'd think) and this doesn't look anything like a fake seizure either. What it looks like is some guy whose been badly discombobulated. The other thing that struck me was how scattered his mind was after he got up and started talking. From what I can remember his logical thoughts seemed to come in pretty small bunbles that aren't very well strung together. I didn't watch the fight live so I saw some of the "he's a faker" histaria that happened afterwards on here, but when I watched it I remember thinking nobody could fake it that well. Also his in ability to control the pitch of his voice or his mood are pretty characteristic of head injuries as well.
Yeah and lets say he did decide to fake it. What would he chose to do, Lazy flat like a board or try to fake a seizure? I mean come on, some people are just ******, no one in their right mind goes "I know what this situation needs, A Fake Seizure!"atsch Plus what kinda of an idiot, just to sell it a little bit more would voluntarily start crying and talking jibberish after the ref has already given him the win. The scarry part about this whole thing is that this is not the type of reaction you normally see from a boxer after he gets KOed. Even the bad KOs don't look like this. I was interviewing a patient last week that fell off a twenty foot roof and landed on his head. He wasn't acting much different. Dirrell needs to seriously take some time off from the sport. Especially, if he has a suffered a concussion.
Stop talking about the King's nutsack, Hermit. He's very self conscious about it hanging from his solar plexus. If it were up to him, nobody would be able to stare at it or hit it repeatedly in every fight.
This was probably the first time in AA's career that the ref did not buy into his constant complaints about phantom low blows.
