You don't get many fights that are this hard to call. It's a true 50/50 and a real clash of styles. Any other possible fights out there that are as intriguing as this one?
wtf:rofl:rofl ABraham is going to tear dirrel a new arsehole, that ***** will be running quicker than mayweather does in his fights lfc
Don't see this fight that way at all myself. All I can see is Dirrell pot shotting and running for 12 rounds for a UD seeing as it's in the states in his home town. Ko'ing a tired gassed seen better days Jermain Taylor and he made hard work of that fight suggests to me that abraham will lose this on points.
The bookies don't see it that way... They have AA as the clear favorite. You get your money times 2.2 if Dirrell pulls it off!
First person sees an Abraham KO. You see a Dirrell marathon running UD. That's why it's a 50/50. Both of these outcomes are very, very possible. But nobody can really commit with any certainty and guarantee it.
I was 100% that Ward would school Kessler I was 100% that Dirrell would beat Froch, Im only around 70% Dirrell will beat Abraham. I was worried about Froch and Kesslers "power", they need to break down and wear their opponent down before they get their stoppages. Abraham has true 1 punch KO power, and that changes things.
i dont see it as 50/50 either....i think AA wins and wins easily...Direll has done nothing in all of his 18 or 19 fghts to show hes got anything to stop a guy like AA. i see him being chased all but out of the ring all night and crying afterwards after landing 7 punches a round he was robbed
50/50 this one. Either Dirrell succeeds in running for 12 rounds and gets the nod from his officials or Abraham gets the KO. Be interesting to see how those who claimed robbery in the Froch fight react if Dirrell gets himself a hometown decision.
and there you have it. Definitely not an even money fight, there is a clear favorite. However, personally, i do think Dirrell is a live dog.
Abraham isn't anywhere near as hittable as Froch and he is also more dangerous when letting his hands go. What this equates to is Dirrell being more than a little worried about committing to punches, particularly in combination (whats needed to really score frequently on AA), and having a lot of trouble landing clean effective punches (this wasn't a problem against Froch). Dirrell won't win rounds quite as easily as some people think, but he will still do very well early. Can't see him winning though, other than by robbery. I think if he wants to go the distance he won't be able to throw enough punches to outscore the limited but efficient work rate of Abraham. If he really goes for it and maintains a good work rate (unlikely) committing to proper punches, i see him getting knocked out in the later rounds, as he is most hittable when punching and transitioning between actions/movements and i have no doubt he cannot take Abraham's better punches (and AA has looked deceptively fast at 168).
Agreed. People are selling Dirrell short in this fight and making AA out to be some kind of seek and destroy killer in the ring.
