Dirrell vs pavlik @ 168: Comeback fight

kelly has never looked good above MW....Andre would easily win at this point.

 

I don't think Dirrell steps on the pedal and stops Pavlik so I take Dirrell by decision.

 

Dirrell would beat the **** out of the alchy.

 

Dirrell, fall down on canvas, complain, hold, run and fake an injury, ad infinitum?

 

Pavlik wouldnt get anywhere near Dirrell and would be stopped by the middle rounds at the latest...Pavlik needs a couple of nice warm up fights to get back up to speed before thinking of taking on any of the top guys...if he still can get back up to speed and fight at World level, I hope so...

Pavlik cut against Martinez because the jackass 'cutman'/doctor pumped him too full of fluids. He popped like an over ripe pimple and of course the idiot the over filled him couldn't stop the blood because of that. So, yeah, Kelly got cut once so someone will always use that as a fight predictor. Makes as much sense as the lemming like glass jaw herd going over the cliff.

 

I never believed Dirrell was as fragile mentally as people seem to believe. Kelly does come forward and we have seen judges award fights on that basis alone. IF Kelly could get back in prime shape his experience might help him. I see this as a very tough/bad fight for Kelly though.

Not sure about that. He was on a rushed schedule to get a tune up fight in and then take on Bute. With all that has gone down I just don't think Kelly would have been ready for that fight. He is probably a year away from proving he can compete at the top again.

I have no idea why people would even MEntion Kelly Pavlik in a Fight with Dirrell as a "COMEBACK" Fight! He wasn't mentally ready to fight ***** Cunningham. So he SURE as Hell aint ready For a Dirrell in a comeback fight! This is from one of Pav's Biggest fans!

Id give Boxing skill to Ward.

A slight edge is speed to ward.

But everything else, Punching power, chin, Physical presense all to Dirrell. I honestly think he would whip Bute real bad! I mean BAD! a Ward fight would be a split or late 12th round stoppage!
