Given that there were less than 100 Brits at Taylor v Froch I don't think that's going to help.

And even if it did, if the place was full of Brits, how would that be neutral?

Location is more important than the nationality of the crowd itself. Thats why its usually referred to as a "neutral site".

Because you think that the building itself influences how fighters fight, how judges score or how referees officiate? Or the local climate? By what mechanism does this happen?

Let me make you a little (i.e. non-exhaustive) list of skills and/or attributes Andre Ward possesses in greater superfluity than does Dirrell. Range control, timing, punch picking, punch placement, accuracy, technical defence, technical footwork, hand positioning, stance, slipping skills, anticipation of blows, feinting, balance, creation of angles through pivoting etc., execution of angled shots, avoidance of counter-punches, rhythm breaking, positioning inside, inside punching, defence inside, effective use of arms and head inside, and (contrary to popular belief) hand-speed, foot-speed and speed of thought.

Agree with almost everything except hand speed and foot speed. Dirrell has clearly the faster hands and faster feet and is the better athlete of the two.

Was hoping this fight wouldn't go to Vegas. Neither fighter is as well known as they should be. In Vegas, I doubt they get more than 2k in ticket sales for this one. I read an article on the site that talks boxing to the Max that said Reno was trying to get the fight. That would be a better location IMO. At least there it will be the talk of the town, and probably draw a big crowd. In Vegas the fight lands on page 10 of the newspaper and nobody shows up.

Dont mention those two bums in the same breath as the greatest SMW ever. Dirrell and Ward could never put on a show like Calzaghe did that night. Lacy would have brutally KOd both of them

 Give me a break with this BS...Lacy is too a straight foward fighter that would get outboxed from begining to end...Both Ward and Dirrell will give hell with their movement...Ward will probably smother Lacy as well to stop him from firing off!

I think both would give Lacy a lot of issues. Jeff had power and a good main gameplan, but no versatility at all. Dirrell would outspeed and work him and Ward would just shut him down, green style.

Exactly, Bailey fails to realize is that Lacy would need room to punch in which neither fighter will give him...Dirrell will constantly give him angels in which will make Lacy look sloppy...Ward can do both fight on the inside and move when needed to evade punishment or dictate the pace. As you said, for Ward it will pretty much be Ward\Green all over again IMO.

I thought someone would bite. I was teasing about the bit where I called them bums, and not to be mentioned in the same sentence. Thats the only bit though

Lacy was highly touted, which was good because I won money on Calzaghe beating him. But in fairness to Lacy he was good, just fed to the Wolf and ruined. Lacy had good speed and combinations and would have KOd Dirrell, against Ward it would be mauling but with Lacy stepping back, giving himself some room and landing a great shot on Wards chin for a KO victory also
