Well, that and it would be neutral ground, something that should have gone down in every single one of these S6 fights so far.

I'm starting to lean toward Dirrell in this fight for some odd reason. I might change my mind when the fight gets closer.

Me too actually. He might not be a bad bet to make, the odds against him should be pretty legit actually.

Agreed. All of the fights should've been held at either MSG or Vegas. All the Euro fighters in the tourney want to fight at those places anyway.

Yeah what's really ruining the S6 fights is having them in front of audiences, they should all have been held in empty casino halls

I'm really interested in seeing how Ward reacts when he's in with a superior athlete and a guy who has better hand speed than him. And this fight will be the first time we get to see this with Ward and it has me intrigued.

    Wow good comeback.

Tell me how many people would have bought tickets to see Froch v Kessler in Vegas where a well known American fighter in Tarver fought an upcoming American talent in Dawson and sold less than 2500 tickets in total for two fights?

After talking and following Dirrells career for some time. I really can't see Dirrell losing to Ward. About every facet of both of their games is just dominated by Dirrell.

From chatting with him recently I'm convinced Dirrell will put on the fight of his life. I can see Dirrell being the aggressor in this fight. This could be a Hagler-Hearns type of war . Dirrell only speaks to Ward now at press functions. "He's the enemy", among other things he stated "If he(Ward) tries to fight me the same way he fought Kessler and Green it will be easy work".

I'm also interested to see how Dirrell's switch hitting plays out in this fight. I think there will be some really strange attempts to control rhythm and pace in this bout, should be bizarre looking.

Cmon man I see what you're saying. But you have to admit the hometown fights have really blemished the tourney. What would you suggest as a good, neutral spot in the EU?

I wonder who really thought they would sell enough tickets in Detroit. Especially after seeing the (low)numbers at the bout with Abraham.

Nothing wrong with being optimistic, but...

    Everybody's obsessed with 'neutrality'.

Boxing must be the only sport in the world whose fans want it held somewhere that the fans can't get into watch it.

Seriously, if you want neutral hold the fights behind closed doors, don't sell any tickets, location doesn't matter much then.
