He surpised allot of people with his performance against Doube A .So im not shocked and he should of got the nod against Froch but hey thats boxing .
I can see this being a boring fight.I dont really like either but hope Dirrel wins cos im sick of hearing how great Ward is and how its a cert he wins the super 6.
Ward may not match the physical tools that Dirrell has, but he's damn close in that department. Ring savvy is what gives Ward the advantage. He's too smart of a boxer for Dirrell...
They are friends, and imo if ward beats green he will spar with dirrell and allow dirrell to take the decision ensuring they both go through and possibly setting up a "rematch" in the final where they will then haver a proper fight.
American conspiracy sees Dirrell take this. If he doesn't, he goes out of the tournament to Froch on head to head. So Ward lets him win it. Joke btw. Ward beats him up.
Right now I have Ward winning. Dirrell keeps improving his game and gave AA a boxing clinic but Dirrell does have his moments when he gets caught up in the action and loses focus. He also like to move towards the ropes and do that sidestep moves with his hands up too high. If Dirrell can keep his focus centered for the whole fight then he would do damage. Picking Ward for now and hoping he takes out Green but I know that even if Ward dismantled Green he would still get no credit
You gotta be ****in' joking! Kessler's face was messed up from headbutts, NOT punches. Go watch the fight again.
Leaning towards Ward. Though Dirrell has the speed advantage and the power to KO Ward IMO. But Ward will fight smart, spoil at times and apply pressure to win a points decision.
Dirrell will show people that he is on a level of speed all his own and will be noticablely faster than Ward. This will keep ward hesitant like froch and abraham and dirrell will get off on him. Ward is smart and will find a way to hit dirrell but dirrell will have already made him tenative to load up with anthing hard. DIRRELL WINS FROM HERE ON OUT AND THEN WHIPS BUTE AFTER THE TOURNEY
I still have my doubts on Dirrel, especially in his last fight. He seems to be a guy who is not mentally tough to be that great. Dunno, but I will lean on Ward here.
