The spoiling has been proven to be beaten by fast feet. Ward will box instead of using the BHOP style because that doesn't work well against footspeed.

I smell a hugfest in the air.
Ward can´t allow Dirrel to get into the same kind of rythm like he did in the AA fight. I see ward lunging in with a shot or 2, mixing it up with an occasional headbutt winning a majority decision.

Dirrell will never be the same after what AA did to him.

It won't. I feel there would be a better chance of them both boxing on the outside but doing little in a boring way, than them getting into a hugging match. I have never seen a fight between to fast fighters where it becomes just a hugging match.

Good luck to the poor *******s recording output. A whole lot of handspeed going on here.

There's never been a moment in their careers so far where Dirrell should have been favored over Ward.

It's a simple case of good and better.

Styles making fights doesn't come into play, either - because Dirrell isn't going to show Ward something crazy that he's never seen (and vice versa). It'll be fire on fire - speed and slickness vs. speed and slickness. It will come down to intangibles. So, Ward.

No, I think Wars is to happy with his belt, he would never let anybody take it without fighting his ass out....

Ward will likely be defending a zero and a belt when they fight, I highly doubt he'll lay down for Dirrell.

And if he's not defending a zero and a belt then he'll need a win just as much as Dirrell will....
