Dirrell is a bigger diver than Stevie G and it was obvious he would never fight Ward. Total joke but he will be beyond any legal ramifications because it is medical.
Froch vs. Abraham will still go ahead (I hope) even if it's a one off bout, as they're two warriors with a fighters attitude and not some temperamental primmadonnas who are too cosy to box eachother.
Well it's already been knocked back once, yes I know it was officially for injury reasons, but I think its delay raised a few eyebrows as to whether that was because of events elsewhere in the S6. Wouldn't this fight make more money in the UK or Germany, than Finland? AA seems to like fighting at home... they may feel there's no need for 'neutral ground' now, now that its not to do with the tournament. Anyway I hope you're right and it goes ahead, I've been looking forward to this one for a long time. I guess with the WBC announcement the other day, they already knew that Ward vs Dirrell wasn't going to happen.
They still need the neutral ground because they got the a supersix homefighter phobia now. And how far are they in training camp? Both are motivated both are coming after a loss and need a win and i'm guessing they wouldn't want that hard work and training to be in vain.
Headaches and dizziness? :think After due consideration, I've re-affirmed my conviction that Dirrell is a cheating twat. :good
i thought the whole green/johnson fight was a waste of time anyway, either get bute in for dirrell or dont bother with this tournament at all, its getting embarassing now!
I predicted something like this would happen with Dirrell. I'm sure loads of you did too. It's been obvious for a long time that Ward v Dirrell was never going to happen.
