What makes him different will be decided by the manner in which he fights. Pascal slugged it out with Froch I doubt that is the gameplan for Dirrell but we'll see if he can stick to his gameplan.

I can't believe a true boxing fan would even ask such a naive question  , Dirrell and Pascal are WORLDS APART, Dirrell is much faster, hits from both sides, unlike Pascal he actually moves around the ring, his combo's are much better too, lastly he's taller with a longer reach, if Froch or his fans think they are facing "Pascal #2" then they are in for a huge shock tomorrow night  .

Taylor failed to impress against two light middleweights and was then beaten twice in a row against a one dimensional slugger in Pavlik before he faced Carl!!.. so two can play that game, as far as i'm concerned styles make fights and Carl is tailor made for Dirrell in every way possible really when you look at the fight from an unbiased point of view.

If all you're doing is analysing the stylistic match-up, then yes. But fights are more than just styles and cold facts. And Dirrell's sloppy defence is likely to play a big part when we know he's not the sturdiest.

Tbh i don't think Andre's defence is a problem at all, yes he's been caught a few times in the past but like any young fighter learning the game you make mistakes, the fact is he's been down once just like Carl and that was 4 years ago, so clearly his defence isn't as bad as suggested, he certainly doesn't keep his left hand by his waist like Carl does :D , and believe Carl will pay for that sloppy error tomorrow night.

Except Carl does it on purpose... that low left is a constant for other fighters to watch and, when they think they can counter him as he throws it, the right comes swinging round.
