    Around here in U.S. a punch in the face can get you maybe a day in jail and released. If the victim wants to press charges it could lead to months of court appearances ; that are not worth the time and money.

    Would a tough guy like that ever press charges for being punched while in a ring?

    I don't want to see the man in jail, but he should lose his license and never work a corner again. Maybe, pay a fine. We don't need any more James Butlers in our sport.

    If they file felony charges on that, they would have to lock up everyone who hit someone in a bar for 5 years. The system doesn't have money or space for that.
