Bernard didn’t beat him though did he? He got outlanded 2-1 and schooled.

Calzaghe would only fight in England just like Floyd & Canelo will only fight in Vegas & Ward would only fight in Oakland to a half empty venue coz he couldn't draw flies to a cow patty

Check the punch stats, outlanded him 2:1. Was easy work for Calzaghe. Completely schooled him after the flash KD

Punch stats ?? since when did Slappy Joe start PUNCHING! 8 out of 10 blows he threw were SLAPS! You know like little girls throw. They used to be called " Inside of the glove blows" which are ILLEGAL blows because they caused cuts

Yep I had Hopkins winning the Calzaghe fight too, albeit only by a point or two. Joe's punch accuracy seemed really off to me, missing lots of grazing shots. Bernard was ancient, but did enough to get the nod.

Not to derail the thread, but I wonder what it would have done for Hopkins' overall career ranking if he got the decision at that age over possibly the greatest SM of all time? Top 20-30 p4p ATG? :ggg
