You are dead on right, I hated Holyfield's 'I love Jesus" act. Meanwhile he had 5 kids with 3 different women. No that that in itself is wrong, but don't go saying how you are world's biggest Christian when living opposite lifestyle. Tyson was already labeled the bad guy, so media needed to paint Holyfield as a saint, and America's hope.

Holyfields headbutting is really the only thing that makes a difference in the outcome of the fights he's in. Nothing else from any other champ influences a victory or loss as much as the headbutting from Holyfield. Lewis holding and hitting, Tyson's elbows or Ali's holding behind the head don't win them fights like Holyfields headbutting. Who knows how many he's won mostly due to his cheating tactics.

Marciano complained about stinging eyes , this may have been caused by ointment applied to Walcott.
But it is more likely it was caused by the blood ,and liniment from Marciano's own injuries . In short his own corner caused the problem by squeezing a sponge over his head causing the liniment /medication to flow down into Marciano's eyes. , this is also in Skehan's book , but you conveniently don't mention it.
You also omit to mention that Marciano butted Walcott in the 6th round opening a deep gash over the left eye of the defending champion.

Marciano himself absolved Walcott from any wrong doing.
The referee did not threaten Weill, Weill was no longer working the corner , the referee had no powers to have Weill or anyone else ejected from the arena . The Chairman of the Pennysylvania Boxing Commision , Ox Dagrosa threatened to have Weill thrown out if he did not sit down , Weill was a menace, and a liability to Marciano, the only reason Weill was able to run around the ring apron shouting to Charley Daggert the ref was because that after the third round, Marciano told Weill to stay out of the corner making him totally redundant.

Both the fighters managers were mobbed up, and Marciano was friendly with many mob guys including Palermo and Carbo.

Marciano got the rub of the green in all his fights when did you see him warned or cautioned for low blows , butting, or hitting after the bell?

    Once.
Dolly Searle took a round away from Marciano against Willis Applegate for punching low, Applegate had won the round anyway.

Marciano got the rub of the green against Moore ,after being floored he got up thinking he would receive a compulsory standing 8 count, and the referee was between Moore and Marciano , preventing Moore from hitting Rocky, there was no standing count in championship contests at that time.
Marciano also hit Moore after the bell in at least twice in this fight.

By the way Charley Daggert only refereed Walcott twice, in that title defence, and against Joey Maxim in 1947, when he went against the two judges to score the ten rounder a 5-5 draw, both of the judges gave it to Walcott , one 6-4 , one 6-3.

Daggert's score for completed rounds in the Walcott fight was 4-7 to Walcott ,the judges were 5-7, and 4-8 for Walcott, so no discrepancy there.

Dolly Searle refereed Marciano 7 times.
    Sharkey Bonano 6.

    :think:think:think

In short you have produced jack **** to back up your allegations .

In short ,you're full of it.
