I always wondered what loopholes exist for a fighter to use in a bout. This sounds crazy but are there any rules against the use of smell ? why wouldn't a fighter take **** in his pants put garlic on his armpits etc to gain edge by making his opponent nauseas. Imaging infighting with a guy like this ? Serious talk what are the limits here. Any stories of a fighter doing anything like this that is legal ? I know in the old days they used to put chemicals on the face to harden the skin like leather.
With all the pride that goes along with fighting would you really wana step into the ring with the smell of **** coming from your shorts. Im sure ive heard of spices being wiped on the gloves and all that, clearly thats not legal. Would the smell of garlic put you off? Maybe get you thinkin about what your guna get to eat after the fight.

Yes along those lines. Bhop is notorious for working the refs Philly style. He also hits low when the ref is to his left and he has an opponent on the ropes so his body his blocking the view.
i think it was tito, who used to pound on peoples hips....borderline below the belt....but not blatant enough to get warnings for it

Barrera used a tactic called 'skinning the gloves' against Rocky Juarez in the rematch by wrapping his gloves on the outside nearly to the top which pulled the gloves tightly around his knuckles. Not sure how legal it is but he certainly got away with it.
It doesn't seem to be too uncommon. I know manny did it quite often back in the lower weight divisions. Juan's gloves were skinned tonight too.
