Valdez rabbit punched Berchelt twice and I believe the one in the fourth round really affected him (although it might have been in the third round). Is Valdez a dirty fighter? Would you have deducted a point or retaliated? Did that have anything to do with Berchelt badly losing his legs?

dude, just stop. Look at the way berchelt ate canned peaches, a bananna, caldo de rez with mexican rice. I thought that was enough to tip the fight in favor of valdez. Then the announcers say he ate two pineapple pizzas. I saw he only weighed 9 more lbs. Everybody in my house said the same ****. We all knew berchelt was screwed. You can eat like that especially after a brutal cut. all those sugars and carbs woulda did more damage then valdez punches. LMAO
Pro boxing is not a game of nicey nicey, if a fighter can get away with rabbit punches, holding, or anything else with impunity then why would they not do so. Valdez i guess could hope to have a opponent like Ezzard Charles, who post fight after Rocky Marciano had shown total disregard for the rules in their bout, said "Guess that's just way he fights", rather polite indeed.
It didn’t look intentional and I don’t think Valdez is a dirty fighter. Hate to see this sort of thing because it’s so dangerous. Will watch replay again but he seemed to recover from the earlier shot. Valdez was winning this one with or without those shots. Berchelt looked slow and sloppy. He’s a cherry picker who picked the wrong cherry. One that had his number.
He did it a few times and I thought should have gotten more of a warning, but not it was not the story the fight. Berchelt walking into left hooks and not punching hard enough to get Valdez's respect were his big problems.
