I'm a big fan of Wladmir, and it pains me to say it, but truth has got to be told, since his defeat he's gone into hiding and only has come out once to do an interview and that was to announce the intention of rematch. Meanwhile we know he's been haggling with fury over the venue and trying to get the fight made on a yacht behind closed doors. Now that's the actions of a b***h not a champ. A champ after a defeat comes out fighting and tells the world what he intends to do to correct and avenge his defeat. He gets rid of the deabeat trainers like that clown Banks, and makes real intent and gets someone in like J D Jackson to help him realise that he needs to let those hands go.
Seems the man is even a bigger disgrace in the wake of defeat than he was when he was winning via illegal Klitschko rules. This silence is clearly just another cheap , underhanded tactic designed to ruffle Furys feathers - keep him out of the ring- stall his career - ring rust him - fatten him up. Then plant a date and venue upon him at the very last second. All the while Wlad knows the date and is in serious training camp. Either that , or Wlad has quit out and is dragging Fury down with him for as long as he can , as form of 'payback'. Both scenarios are entirely possible. Fury should have the governing bodies give this chump a deadline or give up his rematch clause.
Rematch will be as boring as the first one..... Joshua vs Martin or Wilder vs Povetkin is where it,s at.
He still posts on twitter, but it seems negotiations are still on going, what do you expect him to say?
There aren't any ongoing negotiations. The deal was done in the original contract as far as a rematch goes. They are having to work with RTL, Sky, and HBO about finding a date that works for all 3 and then a venue. They have it narrowed down to 2 dates.
Wlad should have to come to England for this fight, he should no longer be holding all the cards its a joke to be honest.
There are so many bums with paper belts trying to put fights on it ain't easy to get the date confirmed for the real deal, that's all.
