I was rooting for abraham but I must say, hitting a fighter when hes on his knees is stupid. On the other hand, I truly believe Dirrell was faking it. Look at the replays, he waved to the ref after he was hit and then fell down. Overall I was disappointed with Abraham stopping for every low blow, like he wanted to stop fighting and I was disappointed with Dirrell faking the knockout when in fact Abraham was starting to connect with some big shots that could have changed the outcome of the fight.
:good Thats exactly how I saw it. The referee was bad, too, but I´m just sad, we didn´t see the last round. It would have been much better to have Dirrell winning a decision or AA desperatly reaching a KO. The final round would have had so much to offer.
Did you see that punch that Abraham landed? That landed flush right on Dirrell's jaw and Dirrell was not prepared for it. And it's not like Abraham is a light puncher. Dirrell was also crying and cleary incoherent after the fight. He thought he had lost. No way in hell was he faking it.
i think dirrel was fakin it when i saw the bit he looked over at the ref n stuck his hand up before falling over, but all that twitching he did looked real so I have no idea wat to beleive. All i know is that he'd deffinately prefer the decision rather than a DQ so if he did fake it, he kinda shot his own foot.
no way in hell he was faking it these people on here are bonkers if they think that he was i normally i just read what people have to say on the fourm and dont normally commet but to all the people who think he was faking did u not what the postfight interview where dirrell was clearly out of it still which is typical of a concussion like that:tired
To any of you idiots who think he was faking you ever heard of a delayed reaction. Its quite common in boxing.
I didn't see him wave to the ref. He instinctively raised his guard after being hit which we have seen numerous fighters do when hurt or KO'ed. The punch swiveled his head right round which means the punch clearly had a lot of force behind it. How hard does a guy need to get hit? I am begining to think that a lot of people in the general forum have never seen a KO before. Delayed reactions to KO's are very common, Tszyu/Judah would be a prime example.
dirrell did fake it i think. and anyways the ref should have been there to stop it when he was on his knees. dirrell knew he would win if he did that, it is abraham fault tho . no doubt about it wut was he thinking he could have knocked dirrell out.
i wish i could punch your ass in the face like that and see how you fake it....thats some real ***** **** to say.....he had a late reaction...look at the punch it nearly decapitated him
