Klitshcko/Fury was disappointing because considering the names involved, you would think that there was no way that fight wouldn't be a classic. Not only was it not a classic, but it was boring as ****.
Katsidis’s corner was weird that fight. He was clearly losing and they had no sense of urgency. They were saying **** like “oh you’re boxing so beautiful, I’ve never seen such loveliness before”
Been years since I watched Klitschko fights. But if I recall correctly, most of his fights were nothing to write home about? Just a boring style? I could be wrong but that's what I remember...
I'm going with Crawford. Spence has not quite looked elite his last couple of fights and I think it will take an elite level performance to beat Bud.
Khaokor Galaxy vs Sung Kil Moon 2. It was an uneventful master class by Khaokor try as he may Moon couldn’t force anything.
I actually found DLH-Mayweather to be pretty involving because at the halfway stage it looked like Oscar could pull off an upset and I was rooting for him to do it. I thought things were still in the balance going into the 10th so the disappointment only hit over the last 2 rounds as I realised Mayweather was going to win. Watching it back, it probably wasn’t as close as it felt on the night but I think it was a pretty interesting one to watch live.
Nearly eight years of hindsight there. I remember it as Fury being unproven at that level, and a big underdog. Indeed, I suspect the main betting would have been on if Fury could make it to the final bell.
