Following on from 'The UK's best prospects' thread, are there any guys out there who have flattered to deceive or failed to live up to their hype??? Its early days but I don't see Thomas Stalker making a lot of noise in the pro game. Scotty Cardle is another who may get found out as he moves up in levels (English/British title level) Hope I'm wrong but those are two who I feel will be quickly forgotten.
Currently, Frankie Gavin, sorry to say but just a complete lack of progress. Still hope he could do something though
Well Stalker has had only two or three and he's being critisized already.Harry Khan was disappointing in his debut, what do you want me to say he was good? It's always harsh to judge prospects but if someone asks my opinion ill be happy to give it.
hate to say it but frankie gavin his ship is sailing and the sun set seems to be not to far in the distance world titles seem way off imo
Anyone remember Superbad Steve Barnes? His Dad was a ****ing nut case. Scott Cardle has no power and a terrible defence but decent skills. Haroon Khan has quite literally the ugkiest style I've ever seen and I scored his first fight a draw. Terrible fighter.
Not necessarily 'Flattered to decieve or failed to achieve' but I always thought Kevin Lear was making a decent name for himself before his untimely injury.
WasBarnes the kid whos Dad took him out camping and that with no tent to get him ready for his fights? Was on ITV and even the commentators seemed embarrassed by the build up.
