Disaster for Caballero ....................

No excuses for Caballero. Yea he fought at 130 pounds but so what. Lizau is good but his chin is very glass in which Caballero had enough pop to crack it but couldn't cause he's freaking overrated. Caballero was never anything special in which proves that calling out Lopez and Gamboa and calling them cowards is a joke on his part.

How the **** did you expect Cabellero to get up for this guy when the two guys that mean anything won't even acknowledge his existance.

If that's not a duck, I don't know what is.

Aside from that, I think he won this fight based on his activity. Sure his punches didn't have the same pop as Litzau's, but Litzau never had him in trouble and he also took too much time off when Cabellero was puttin in work.

But you sayin this guy is a joke is pure bull****. He's a joke because the two guys that should fight him are avoiding him?

Know I've read somewhere about his leg & why his balance is bad (Forgot why) but last night it was truly exposed by Jason Litzau.

No excuses hendo. Caballero should know easily that he can't take any fighters lightly. He needed more exposure, more good wins impressively. But instead? He did the opposite. I do admit Caballero vs Litzau was a close fight and i had it a draw but again no excuses Caballero should have beat Litzau easily cause Litzau is good but nothing special and his chin is glass badly. This shows once again that Caballero is way overrated. Lopez and Gamboa are 20 times better then Litzau.

 

I don't like to discredit fighters. Heck, everybody said Lang was not a good fighter back in the day, but when I watched him I saw speed, movement, sharpness.

But I have never seen anything I liked in any of Caballeros fights. Litzau had no jab and was still able to dictate a ranged game, and his style is very amatuerish too. There was a fight a few years ago on the undercard of Vazquez Marquez I where Caballero fought a really short guy and I thought he lost every round. I never score any rounds for him, I think he's terrible, and ... I swear I've seen amatuers with more craft. Maybe they can't take the cracks he can, but his only advantage has been height. I would fight him tomorrow. I would never in a million years even step in the ring with Marquez or Katsidis, only five pounds heavier, or Barrera or Pac or even guys like Agapito Sanchez at 126 a few years ago because they are all good and have world class skills but man Caballero has nothing but height and maybe he takes a good shot, but his body mechanics, technique, and everything are extremely unimpressive. No skills to fall back on when things don't go perfectly his way.

Caballero was robbed by a whiteboy with no technique. Caballero should've knocked Jason's punk ass out when he was clowning with his hands down.

But to be honest, I think Cabellero is the one that lacks technique. I mean, he leans foward on his toes to punch, he doesn't throw with authority, he's just quick with his handspeed and bodymovements, throws a lot of punches, seems to be able to take a punch, and he's much bigger than the rest of the division.

I agree with the posters that say he was unimpressive, but I think he did enough to win the fight too.

For the record though, before people start forming an opinion about me, I don't agree with tryin to make this a race issue.

 

Lol he wasn't robbed. Don't get mad cause you lost alot of money on overrated Caballero.

 

At least he now will be unable to foil a possible JuanMa-Gamboa showdown next summer.

Never bought into the Caba hype. The guy did nothing to warrant The Ring's top 10 P4P ranking and I said it many times.

 

As a spanish newspaper stated "Caballero concetrated so much on his trash talking, he forgot how to fight"

 

he actually boxed 1 division up from his original weight 126. lbs and he came in at the weigh in 131.5. 1.5 over the light weight limit
