Do you have a source saying that these guys: Nunn Benn Eubank Collins Barkley Cordoba Littles Van Horn Liles Nardiello Close Rocchigianni Nicotra didn't want to 'step up to the plate' as you call it? Or are you talking out of your ass?
If you read what I replied to it would have been clear to you that we where talking about SMW's so your post is therefore an automatic fail.
Nunn, Benn, Eubank, Collins, Barkley, Cordoba, Littles, Van Horn, Liles, Nardiello, Close, Rocchigianni and Nicotra didn't want to step up to the plate. Jajajajajajajajajajaja. Owned
I think I have provided sufficient evidence that DM didn't want it. All you have to do to see this, is do 4 things. 1. Read the links properly from post 78, that contain dates, times, the people involved etc, from FOUR different articles. 2. Watch the video I posted. 3. Go and analyse DM's resume, and look at who he fought, and where and when. 4. Just be honest with yourself. It's as clear as day that DM didn't really want to fight Roy. Roy DIDN'T want to go to Germany. But he wanted the fight in America. If he didn't, then why would he have paid Brad Jacobs to go and meet with HBO, to then try and negotiate a deal with Peter Kohl?? Why are you trying to argue against the facts?
Cordoba? Victor Cordoba? While Roy was at 168, Victor only had TWO FIGHTS! Ha! One was against Tim Hillie. The other was against Leonardo Aguilar at 175 pounds! So while Roy was at 168, Cordoba had just the one fight against Hillie. But Roy ducked him right?? Ha! Now do you really want me to go through the rest of your list?
As I already said multiple times it is ranked fighters by Ring Magazine. They where more qualified than the ones Jones DID fight don't you agree? Bottom line (again): Jones did not fight them. That's just what I've been saying all along. No need to get riled up. Hmmmm....... He did have 6 fights at 168 after Toney didn't he? Do you think that was some stand-out opposition? No I have not. Nunn was the no.1 contender for quite some time while Jones was champ. Dude I was talking about 168. You are way off target. Why would I wanna do that? Calm down. You might get a heart attack. I'm well aware of Eubanks career. Jones is not on his record. He had 6 fights at 168 after Toney and the opposition consisted of a bunch of janitors and deliverymen. That's what I am saying.
Bat, let's look at Nardiello. While Roy was at 168, he fought, Frederic Seillier Massimilano Bocchini - not at 168. Nigel Benn Jose Vargas - not at 168 Rolando Torres - not at 168 Henry Wharton Noberto Bueno Malinga Robin Reid But Roy fighting on HBO in America, ducked him right?
Nardiello was hilarious, proper cheating Italian but in a funny way. Used to throw his toys out of the pram when things werent going his way, im sure he started on Benn's dad after losing that one ? Here he is, crying again.... This content is protected Jones wouldve battered him but it would have been funny in some way.
You may not know, but Nardiello was a victim of Park Si Hun in the Seoul olympics. That robbery happened in the semis and was arguably even more pathetic than Park Si Hun's "win" over Jones.
Didnt know that actually, good bit of info. I liked Nardiello even though he was a cheating windbag, always entertaining even if for the wrong reasons.
