HBO must have been real tired of all the BS fights he had since Toney then. And they where right. After Toney his opposition was appauling.

Yes, HBO and Roy both expressed their frustration with the lack of quality fighters stepping up to the plate.

Yeah, Roy should have re matched Gonzalez instead of Tarver, so he could be the "real" champ.

I was disappointed, but you seem to have an agenda.

He beat the best guy, then moved up about 18 months later. If he'd have stayed at 168 for a long time and missed all those guys then fair enough. But he only stayed there for a short period. He knew he couldn't unify. Liles and Benn were Don King fighters. If you want the links you can have them. He wasn't going to give Don a three fight option.

So do you blame Roy for not agreeing to it?

Or do you blame Don for being greedy?

It seems you're blaming Roy. But Roy said he didn't want to be tied to a promoter even when he first turnd pro.

Eubank didn't want big fights. Go and look at some of the names on his resume. He was happy sat on his sky contract.

Now I'm sorry, but these are not excuses. They are valid reasons!

Now go and look at all of he fighters you listed earlier, and look at who they were fighting while Roy was at 168. When you've done that, get back to me.

I'll give you Nunn, although at the time he was mandatory, he wasn't the fighter he once was.

    But yes, Roy ducked/dismissed him.

Now last week you pulled me up, stating that I was trying to pass my opinions off as facts.

So give me some proof that Roy ducked all those guys that you've listed.

    Bring it!

Wait did Bailey put Rochi and Eredi

I find it funny that he also lists DM,wasn't he Joe's mando at one point ?Its funny how he says Jones ducked these guys yet never faults anyone else for the same thing he accuses him of doing .

    Great comeback Philly!

You've just decided to ignore a full page of FACTS, and then comeback with insults.

How stupid do you look? :good

    Haha! Seriously, WHAT THE ****?

Go and READ the links properly from post 78, from 4/5 different articles, then get back to me. If you don't agree with my opinion, then fine. I've no problem with that. But you're now trying to argue against concrete facts and logic. You can't dispute anything in those links. They're not biased at all.

Seriously what more do you want?????

You've got 4/5 different articles, i've shown you and Knockout a video, and you can boxrec DM's resume whenever you like.

Kohl didn't want a double header, he wouldn't sit down to negotiate, and DM never fought in the U.S.

You're making yourself look stupid trying to argue, when it's all there in black and white.

After talks broke down, DM to continued to fight in Germany against B class opposition. You're trying to re write history. It's obvious to anyone with an ounce of intelligence that DM didn't really want Roy. Just look at his resume. It speaks volumes!

Griffin, Hill, Reggie Johnson, Gonzales, Harding, Tarver, Woods, Ruiz??

What have you got to say about the above names? We know he fought Frazier and Kelly too and a few bums, that's fair enough.

But you've made yourself look stupid with your comment.

How are the names above, that were after Toney, Appalling??

    Explain it to me.

Also in the middle of all those fights, Jacobs was trying to secure him the DM fight, and they were negotiating with Hop for a rematch. After Ruiz, Murad Muhammad tried to get him Tyson and Lewis.

Type into google, Murad Muhammad F-Hype interviews.

Of course while all of this was taking place, DM was fighting Jack Johnson, Ezzard Charles and Rocky Marciano right?
