We rarely ever get a definitive answer with most threads, like this thread it's down to interpretation. Nonetheless been a enjoyable read fella's :good.

Except Canto was pretty much complete. Outside, inside, in the pocket, on the backfoot. Awesome defence, brillient footwork, timing, finesse, pivoting on the turn, ridiculous jab, combinations, very good output etc.

If Canto is being discribed as one dimensional, then i want Locche and Pep to be called the same too, that's just my point.

I wouldn't say he was incredible in all of those things at all. I agree he was extremely good in the pocket, but then he'd nip out again. Re-set. Repeat. He was a backfoot boxer who would find a counter, do his work, and not stick around. Brilliant at it, but not a complete fighter in the image of the man in your avatar.

Essentially all the things you've listed are things he implemented in a style that allowed him to box one way.

Ridiculous jab? Functional, yes, and given how he could pivot off it an effective part of his game. I would say Bob Foster had a ridiculous jab.

Locche is one dimensional IMO. Especially his offence.

It's just arguing for the sake of it now though, ain't it, Flea? lol

Functional? lol. It was pretty darn great. His main weapon for almost everything. He blinded you with it, he was creative with it. Bob Foster had a top 10 ATG jab, it was also more noticable because of the power, bringing him up doesn't negate how great Canto's jab was.

To continually call a man that could do ALL that, one dimensional is being a little obstinate my man, surely?

But i don't think we're ganna agree on this one, so we move on. :good
