Which means Wlad was certainly scared.

Short and sweet. Hamburg, Germany with a wet canvas. Two guys afraid of getting caught but hoping to capitalize on the opportunity of dropping his opponent, Wladimir always safety first leading with a long ranging jab and moving step by step, Haye rushing in for counters and slipping on the canvas too often. Times goes by. Haye always on the retreat waiting for the opening that most rarely was presented. Tried to fight an entire different fight from the previous 11 rounds in the 12th and scored his biggest punch there. Hard fight strategically for Wladimir but no way the UD for Wladimir was in question.

Fight sucked, it was like they were both scared of each others power, I had it 9-3 Wlad, but even a few little punches by either fighter would have won any round

I've learned something amazing in ESBland today. Losing eleven of twelve rounds ISN'T being dominated if it's a low activity fight. It's like Haye beating up a crude journeyman has created a freak temporal disturbance and altered the timeline. Sci-fi at its best.

It'd be interesting to see how the fight would have went if haye would have fought like that the whole fight..... wlad would have probaby won by ko to be honest.. the way he turned it up after haye landed that punch ( and he clinched haye and dragged him to the floor (which was a foul!) was impressive

Haye clearly went in there with a plan to lose but not get KO'd, that's why he never took any risks and was there to survive. If he decided to go for broke he might have landed more of the same punch he landed in the 12th, but clearly he didn't want to risk gassing only to get KO'd for it.

    Zero domination by any guy.

Wlad won about 8 of the rounds, rarely engaged, tried to lean all the time, Haye counter by dropping to his knees (fair enough imo) but it made for an ugly and boring fight, Wlad connected with a few good shots, Haye took them well and landed a good shot himself in the last which forced Wlad to hold for 10 seconds.

Bad night all round, i'd like a rematch to be made in the USA or England down the line, but only after a Vitali fight (if they don't duck Haye)

Haye was pretty good at dodging Wlad's jab. Wlad was too good at keeping Haye at distance and stepping away from Haye's assaults.

It was a dull fight where no one was able to hit each other much. So, the guy who threw more punches won.

The fight was god awful to watch, neither was willing to engage, both afraid of each other. This fight was terrible for boxing. Neither man dominated, Wlad won the fight, he won 10 to 12 rounds, but he never dominated. Wlad did enough to win, Haye did almost nothing.

Wait a minute?!?! So you mean to tell me you actually saw Haye making an attempt to "assault" Wlad? And you mean to tell me you actually saw Wlad "stepping away from" them? As in retreating? :think

Because all I ever read is how Haye ran the whole fight and never once tried to engage, as Wlad chased him around the ring. :huh

That's the most biased piece of 'journalism' I've ever seen. The fact you use it as some sort of evidence says more about you than Haye.
