I thought it was a good athmosphere, but still didnt beat that off Hatton-Tsyzu, no way. That night in Manchester was unbelievable, that was the extra 10% that Hatton needed...it got me hooked on boxing

    PBF Late TKO:D

20-30 danes? There were 5,000 of them! Ever been to a football match, away fans always outsing the home fans.

And you're assuming you were virtually the only english / non-welsh person there. You must be honoured. Ever seen a German boxing event? The place is silent, you could hear a pin drop - ****ing disgraceful if you ask me...

Oh, as a side, the yorkshire ripper, **** and murdering *******s the lot of you ... you should be ashamed, "you english".

As we're having a racial generalisation day, do any other nationalities need some tarring with the big brush?

only thing that bothered me was the fact that Frank Warren some how thought it was wise no to play the Danish national anthem :patsch (there would have been more edge from the Danish Supporters if that wouldn't have been the case)

    Great Fight besides that

I didn't see it - but i'm glad it wasn't a football type atmosphere...JC hasn't ( via FW ) been aligned to any football club - like Hatton to MCFC or Mitchell to WHUFC...JC could have cashed in and had a very hostile crowd on his side if he had feined support for Cardiff City - but he never - and i respect that.

I too can confirm Joe went up on the ropes and saluted the fans. He regularly slautes the people who come to see him in the Millienium.

Plus when I watch Calzaghe-Manfredo the Welsh fans were great. Find it hard to believe they weren't. Even Kessler says they were daunting.

He did...I saw him go to at least 2 ropes...But I also felt he didn't thank everyone enough and that he left too quickly, at the time...I was in the stadium...
