Disgraceful Billy Nelson!!

Billy was on here bragging about Ricky's sparring,the guy spars with little kids and amateur prospects for world title fights.Hes not coming into these fights prepared and that's all down to his trainer,I can only imagine the kind of preparation Beltran had for this fight sparring with the likes of Manny in the Wild card.I had a feeling he would walk right through Burns and a lot if people on here laughed at me.Burns would have been better off dropping the title to save some face and humility because he is not a world champion,not is he even a top 5 lightweight.If Eddie Hearn had any decency he wouldn't have allowed that to happen and tried to get Ray the fair shake,he had a lot to do with that decision tonight and might have also shot himself in the foot,what fighter is gonna want to come to the uk and fight on one if his cards after that.

 

Ricky Burns clearly lost the fight, no question about it.

It was an absolute disgrace of a decision.

I demand an immediate rematch.


Everytime a robbery happens I automatically hate the cheating winner but in this case it's really hard to hate Burns as he seems like a geniune nice guy;-really hope he gives him a rematch otherwise I am going to have to abuse him non stop

 

Sorry but this aint billys fault here.. Its the judges and whoever enforces them.

Yep Beltran all day long. At most I could give 3 rounds to Burns, that's it! Then you got to factor the 10-8 round too for Beltran. He bossed the majority of the rounds. Burns hardly made a case to win many of the rounds, easy for me to score. Beltran dominated that fight, all i saw from Ricky, was holding for his dear life. No idea how that translates to winning rounds but there you go.

The more this happens, the more foreign fighters are going to start boycotting the UK. We are starting to get a reputation now, sooner or later we won't be seeing the big fights on our shores I know that much.

These Gangsters are running British boxing through the mud right now and it's a bloody disgrace.

 

Worse decision ever, Ricky definitely lost.

Give billy a break though, fair play to him for posting on here. Hopefully Burns can come on strong in a rematch without a broken jaw.

 

Why not hate the judges and promoter? Has nothing to do with the fighter.

Of course it does,it's Billy's inability to bring in top class sparring that is killing Ricky for me.

 

He didn't really call it fair, did he? I know he's true-blue and all, but - FFS...

It was a shocking decision, and lets face it Beltran is only fringe world class, just like Ricky. What Ricky has proved in last two fights he is know were near the level of Scott Harrisons and Ken Buchannan's as I have always said. He would beat them at a cuddling world championship, the ref was worse that the judges even. Billy Nelson know he was talking ****, wasn't close Burns got outclassed and cheated for most of the fight.
