What for the Ward fight?. It's either that or them lot are worse then the Germans . I did think to myself this atmosphere is pish!.
I don't think the actual atmosphere there was rubbish, the sound guy just totally messed it up. You need to hear the crowd and the fighters and then have the commentators having to raise their voices over it. On the Ward fight the arena vol was so low in comparison to the commentators microphones. atsch
Yeh it has been a problem quite often with the international fights they carry. Certainly the shots of the crowd seemed to show them going mental at times but we couldn't hear it.
Nick Halling is a **** commentator too. States cliches all the time, like saying Ward will have problems as Dawson is a southpaw. Ward was a brilliant amateur so he's probably faced a good 20 or 30 at least. atsch
