Cotto was the first to even mention fighting the winner of Hatton/Pacman at a catchweight back in Febuarary. 145 was negotiated, with Cotto's belt on the line on the incentive that his sanctioning fees will not come out of his own purse.

I hope it doesn't. I seriously doubt that the contract that's in place now for Floyd-JMM was agreed upon months ago. More than likely, JMM was given the ultimatum of going with the last minute 147 contract or leave the money and walk away. Cotto doesn't have the clout to do something like that against Pac and Roach would probably sue the $hit out of him if he did.
