    @ 1:06 Ward lands a clean body shot
    @ 1:02 lands another
    @ 0:59 lands another
    by this time kov has his hands down at his sides and seems to just be running and appears to have no interest in fighter nor even defending himself.
    @ 0:50 lands yet another
    @ 0:43 another
    @ ):36 another, kov bends over and Ward throws two more which dont appear to land but not clear where and weeks steps in. Kov took 5 hard clean body shots at the end of that round. He`d been taking a few every round of the fight except maybe the first and possibly the 2nd. But every round Ward was landing hard clean body shots.

    How can the "KO" punch be illegal yet the fight result be considered fair?

    I saw the little fist pump before the fight with the official before Ward prayed in the corner. It was a little odd but I tried not to think about it.

    However, Weeks has fallen on his sword to make everything Ward did OK, because it was Weeks who should have stopped him. I wouldn't be surprised if these low blows were part of the fix because if you're going to slow someone down, repeated solid shots to the balls will do the trick.

    Kovalev was in survival mode so of course he was running and do all he could to avoid Ward at that point.

    There was less than a minute left in the round and not at any point did he look seriously unable to continue even after slouching on the ropes when he received those last 3 hard low blows.

    The ref had no right to stop the fight even if he didnt want to DQ Ward. Kovalev would have seen out that round and been given a chance to regroup and we'd have had been given the opportunity to witness a foregone conclusion instead of the ref gifting the fight to ward unjustly.

    Kov's lucky the ref didn't deliver a few shots accidentally on purpose himself just for kicks! The way that the post fight interviewer made as if he didn't notice that last low blow seems extremely fishy. To be honest, I find the calm way that Kov himself nonchalantly accepted the whole thing fishy. Maybe boxing is now the equivalent of wrestling with all the rehearsing and fakery involved. After all, why risk really getting hurt when you can collect a good paycheck by just putting on a fake show? Makes sense!

    They ensured that Kovalev never stood a chance with all those factors working against him.

    If SK won in that shamessly and cowardly weasel fashion he'd quickly lose my respect and I wouldn't ever want to see him get a big fight again.

    ^^ The fight was in Vegas, Ward is from Oakland.

    I don't think you need to be a master in geography to be able to distinguish that fact. It's 2 different states.

    2 states in the same country? I wonder who they will back?

    People call Ward a master, but a master is never only comfortable performing their craft in their own home.
