Never turn on the commentary! It’s always biased garbage.

I use the RBR threads on here as commentary, to see if people are seeing what I’m seeing (it’s usually totally random or 50/50 which plurality is better than the talking heads who are invariably biased towards the house fighter).

So you disagree that the standard of commentary is poor?

I don't mind biased commentary. If they like one fighter better then they should run with it, celebrate their victories, mourn their defeats.

No need to be dishonest about it, pretending they're neutral arbiters of truth and just happen to have come to the same strange view of the fight.

ALL those promoter companies and their commentary are biased and all of them pushing the narrative that they are ordered, tell me something new.

P.S. Which promoter gave us Two undisputed fights in less than 9 months ? remind me.

It's always been hard as hell for visiting fighters to win in the USA, a massively strong bias has always been shown to the local and extreme bias against anybody who is fighting there especially if it's your first fight there. Taylor will never ger the rub of the green with US jurges against a local but the more times he actually fights in the states, the judges, callers etc will slowly come into line. You don't start on an even keel with commentators there. A natural belief that their guy is better is shown from the beginning, so a foreign fighter has to really outshine their fighter to be noticed as having any kind of advantage by the callers or even a 'fair shake'.
Japan is about the only country where visiting fighters get fair treatment.

Yea definitely agree. I do enjoy listening to Mr. Ward and his knowledge tho. Tim also but he can go over the top at times

Commentary was very poor. Strange fight. I didn’t feel it was very difficult to score, Taylor won clearly, I had him 115-110 myself

That's true, japanese have honor and integrity. They would rather lose instead of get a gifted decision.

ESPN is a joke. They are just biased period. They are so bad I actually told Directv to take ESPN off my package. I will never support them.

That crew is awful. Tessitore talks like he's constipated, Bradley is punch drunk, and Ward struggles to stay on script.

I won’t go that far as they have promotional contracts with boy guys. However, they did have a preference in Ramirez winning because he’s Mexican and they want to have a place in that market. He’s more marketable to them than Taylor simple as that. Had he won they could have sold out any arena in California his next fight.
