Dismiss Scotty Harrison at your peril...

'In boxing you are only as good as your last fight'

& never has this saying been more true than after last Saturday night.

Scotty Harrison fights agaisnt a last minute opponent, & struggles to pin him down after Scotty nearly flattens him in the 1st, & his opponent goes into survival mode & scotty goes onto win by a shutout.

Then Ricky Burns enters the ring & puts on a dazzling show, wiping out Kevin Mitchell in spectacular fashion.

So now its all talk here of Scott not deserving a shot anymore, Scott being mere old man cannon fodder for a Ricky Burns who has bigger fish to fry than a fight with the suddenly old dude who has nothing left.

Big mistake folks, BIG mistake.

Scotty looked a bit rusty, as to be expected. However, the man has an iron will & an iron chin to match, & I still firmly believe that if you engage the teak tough tartan terror in a fight? You lose. He will outpunch you, & simply outman you. Thats how tough he is, how STUBBORN he is. If Ricky Burns fought against Scotty like he fought against Mitchell? I think Scotty would love it!

So if this fight happens in December, dont be a fool & dismiss my man Scotty Harrison. You have been warned, thats all Im saying:deal

 

Why? he is a two time world champ that never lost his title inside the ring when he was forced to quit, hes big box office, hes scottish & so is Burns, & this is boxing where money talks first, & the puritans ***** on forums like these.

So spare me the drama.

 

Why? Cos he didnt knock out that last minute opponent? 2 comeback fights, two wins, hardly finished BA.

Trust me, if I thought he was, I wouldnt make threads like this. Just heed the warning.
