I must admit Scott Harrison's fight on the bill was just as exciting for me as was the main event and if he had been in with a decent opponent it might have been the fight I looked forward to the most.
If they had put him in with a decent opponent I think it might also have been the end of the comeback.

He has so much work to do in such little time, but time isn't on his side. I don't expect this to end well for Scott if I'm honest, he got buzzed a few times and I can see him being out boxed easily by someone with youthful movement. If he goes to war, it's an area he used to excel in I really don't know if he can do that if he gets buzzed so easily, which leaves him a sitting duck. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not so hopeful, I think Mother Nature has finally caught up

Harrison has been out of prison for 6 months and has had more fights this year than most VVarren fighters.

Imo both of Scott's opponents since his comeback have been the wrong styles to make him look good, Scott has never looked good against movers.

I also think it is unfair to judge him on the second bout, Scott weighed in at 9.8 on the Friday to box a lightweight bout, that bout didn't happen and the replacement was a naturally bigger man, he weighed in at 10.6 on the night, Scott weighed in 10.4 but by fight time he would have still been that weight where as his opponent could easily have been closer to 11 stone.

Joe looked at least 2 divisions above Scott and was badly tagged in the first and the bout could have been finished then, but Joe's size helped him recover and he went into defensive mode.

A bit has been made about Scott being hit on the back of the head and looking hurt, I really don't believe he was hurt maybe stunned but anybody that has boxed or knows anything about boxing knows that being hit on the back of the head can knock you off balance, it certainly doesn't mean you have become chinny!!

The only reason Harrison should get to fight Burns in December is that he's got zero chance of making it through the Xmas/new year period sober.

He's done nothing to deserve it. He looked poor on Saturday, he's fought two fights against rubbish since getting out the jail, his behaviour away from the renergy generally disgraceful...

Ricky has a real chance to prove he's world class, linking him to Harrison is a joke. Thinking Harrison can beat him is an even bigger joke.

Maybe,in that scenario. But is Ricky and Billy stupid enough to play into Scotts strengths. I dont think so.
I do think your voting wth your heart Dunky. To make a comeback at 35 years of age afterv a long lay off which included plenty of booze and general all round unhealthy living is so hard to do,especially when your hoping to mix it with world class operaters in such a fitmans division is near on impossible no matter who you are. I said this before his comeback fight and even thouigh hes had 2 wins since then I stick by my opinion. Just cant see it happening Dunky. Soz

It shouldn't have made the slightest difference whether his opponents were "movers" or not. I could see your point if he was in against a high standard of fighter, but at this level he should be having no difficulty whatsoever.

He should have bullied the guy out of there within a couple of rounds, instead we're discussing whether Harrison was wobbled or not.

Time for a reality check people...

Come on man, I'm a big fan of Harrisons, but if he was box office material just now he'd have his own show, and be able to get an opponent sorted out in decent time.

He's got a long way to go and a lot to prove. These two comeback fights have done relatively nothing to push him on - it needs properly planned out.

I hope he can do it though.

How about a Harrison VS Alex Arthur fight now?
Could generate cash, and on Saturdays showing I'd say both fighters are at a similar level now.
Would be a decent interim fight - Harrison could then take on Kev Mitchell or John Murray before looking at a shot at a title.

Or is there weight issues with AAA, or trainer issues (did he go back to being trained by Peter Harrison?)?

Harrison is a double hard ******* i should know if been in this game long enough. But that devil stare he possesses means **** all when Burns is landing at will.

    Burns is world Class
Harrison WAS world class and now fights journeyman and skinny kids.

I don't understand how some people are suggesting Burns would be best advised not to stand and trade with Harrison. It would simply mean Scotty gets knocked out double quick.

It's nice to see Scotty has loyal fans, but some of what's being posted on here is bordering on trolling.

Scott looked old when he was a teenager, its just him, and if you really think Mitchell would demolish Harrison, youre a certified, grade A, ****ing idiot!
Ring rusty he most certainly is, but you could have dragged him out his cell in Spain, and Mitchells not taking him out, give Scott 2-3-4 more fights, he'd be a match for Mitchell.
