    BS

Floyd has some zing in those lead right hands and left hooks. Clearly, Oscar stopped using the jab because he didn't want to eat those Mayweather right hand counters. Same deal for Marquez...

Thanks!!:good Where you find that info at?:huh What about Carlos Hernandez??? I know he was anther VERY active fighter who out threw Floyd. Floyd is just incredible by out landing guys who throw TWICE as many punches.....just crazy and mind boggling if you really think about that ****.

I got the info off the compubox website. Just google Floyd Mayweather vs. Jesus Chaves punch stats and it will come up. Hernandez was outlanded by Floyd as well, 241-172. That first Castillo fight is the only I believe in which Floyd was outlanded.

Thanks for the follow up guys.

I think this info supports the writer's thesis that PBF is not a runner(which is a pejoritive term). It seems that he picks his spots and makes his opponent pay for missing, while at the same time allowing the opponent to wear himself down throwing an average of 80% meaningless punches.

It's a great article. One thing to think about though is that most fans of boxing prefer more action and risk taking than what Floyd's style brings. Imagine if the next generation of young boxers model themselves after Floyd's style, pro boxing would probably be as popular as amateur and olympic boxing. Only the boxing purists would still follow the sport. Personally, I enjoy Floyd's style. I don't speak for the majority though.

It doesn't matter whether he is a runner or not. Personally i think he is a runner but if it gives him the 40 and 0 then it must be good for him. When pacquiao beats him it goes to show pacquiao can deal with alot of styles in boxing lol

Be careful with what you are saying. A lot of Floyd fans didn't even know that ducking below the belt is not allowed.
