    I don't dislike Matthysse. He's must-see tv.
Forgive me for not jumping on the bandwagon and dismissing alexanders performance.
Definitely an Alexander round. Rewatch it bro...

I don't know if I scored the rounds the same as you Willy (don't feel like watching it again) but I did end up with the same final score. Alexander doesn't really get credit for some of the work he did in that fight, yeah sure he was moving around but a lot of the times when he decided to throw he was stepping into it and not just punching on the run like some people say. You are allowed to move in boxing

I'd hate to have the crippling inferiority complex OP has to deal with. It must really hold him back in life.

Lol.. this guy again. No "inferiority complex" over here tramp.

Care to participate and give your perspective on the fight?

Or continue bitching and moaning about posters being "biased" like you've made a habbit of doing?

Seems like you're the one with the insecurities, getting upset about who other posters root for and what not. Aint no shame in my game bruh :good

I love the one line comments that are only proving the OP's initial post right.

Anyway, I had it one point for Mattysse when I initially scored it, but to tell the truth, I have not rewatched the fight since the original broadcast. I'll go back and look again, but IMO, Judah certainly won his fight, albeit in another close affair.

Won't dispute it because I agree. Lucas Matthysse is way overrated on these forums, same goes with GGG.

Re watched the fight recently and its the same old problem time and time again. any round that is remotely close goes to the home town fighter when so many of these rounds should be scored even. happens all over the world.

If super close rounds are scored even then you have a situation where the guy who wins rounds clearly gets the decision, thus fights where the guy doing the most damage, cleaner work and impressing both crowd and home audience gets the win.

Easy to see why Devon got the nod from the judges but its one of many things wrong with the sport. Matthyse won - fact.

    Simple really.

Not going to dispute your scores since its been a while since I watched it. But found my old score card from when I last scored it and I had Matthysse winning 4,5,7,8,10 and Alexander winning 1,2,3,6,9 with Matthysse wining because of the knock down.

Seem to remember many rounds being close though.

You scored it for Matthysse first time, what rounds have you changed your mind on?

It appears that instead of scoring on the general accepted criteria of ring generalship, effective aggression and clean punching you have decided to score rounds on how black you perceive the fighter to be.

I agree on this criteria Devon definitely won you racist piece of ****

    1- Alexander (either way round)
    2 - Alexander (close)
    3 - Alexander (close)
    4 - Matthysse (clear, KD)
5 - Matthysse (either way round)
6 - Matthysse (either way round)
    7 - Matthysse (clear)
    8 - Matthysse (clear)
    9 - Alexander (close)
    10 - Matthysse (close)

    93-96 Matthysse

In my mind Matthysse won, however I could see the possibility of Alexander by a point at the most.

I think the 96-93 card for Alexander is hard to see but it's a one round difference from what I see as a fair result so maybe with it being subjective and all someone could have it that way.

Not a robbery but for me Matthysse won.

From what i can remember its either 5 rounds each plus the KD which means Lucas gets the win or its 6 -4 Lucas plus the KD for a clearer win either way it should be a Lucas win.

What cost Lucas was he clearly lost the first 3 rounds, it then becomes easier to "rob" him.

After the fight Devon clearly looks like a loser and looks embarrassed/relived to get the decision. Its a close fight but you can't give Devon 6 rounds so in that sense it is a robbery. But lets move on now, as both fighters clearly have.
