Dispute this analysis of Floyd's resume vs Pac's.

In comparison. Pac destroyed Hoya jumping up 2 weight divisions, Floyd SD Hoya jumping up 1. Pac was a MUCH MUCH bigger underdog. At the least, both are A level wins for both fights or A-.

Hatton A- for Floyd but B for Pac? Pac fought a prime Hatton who beat Malignaggi convincingly at his prime weight 140lb without Joe Cortez, and Pac was the smaller man. Floyd fought Hatton at 147 with Joe Cortez and Floyd was perceived to be the bigger man admitted by Hatton too. Also Pac destroyed Hatton. I think this is an A win for Pac and A- for Floyd.

Judah a B win? Right...the guy just effing lost to Baldomir and just about eveyr big fight.

I dont see how a very very past it Mitchell is B, B- really.

How about this for arguments sake, a former flyweight champion, has demolished 2 of PBF best wins much more impressively than he did...How about being the only fighter in the history of the sport to win 4 lineal championships in 4 divisions? How about being the only one in history to win titles from fly to LW to JWW?

How about demolishing 4 ATG's on his resume vs Floyd's 1?

Floyd is a great fighter, will have an enhanced legacy when he beats JMM and can prove he's the best if he beats Pac. For now, its Pac time.

 

Given Hatton was at 140 for Pac, it should be the other way around.

 

Pac Man Destroyed hatton no doubt however hatton slid. the loss to floyd took something out of him. He looked like the machine who defeated kosta until floyd. he did not destroy malinaggi. Not impressive and I was very dissapointed that he could not crush a man that cannot crack tater chips. if he lasted long as he did what happens when brick hands is in there that many rounds? well he didnt need that many rounds. Hatton got old that night he fought floyd. No shame that it took a p4p champ to do it but hatton is through with the top tier level of fighting.

Pacman would have won even if hatton wasnt on a slide because of hattons style. but I dont think it would have been over in round two. weighing in over 152 pounds .

Not taking this away from pac. There doing a beautiful job working there way to eachother. Oscar Hatton both the same guys floyd fought and now jmm, it be a shame if this fight dont happen, dont expect floyd to get kod Floyd gonna throw some power shots to get that little hurricane off him

 

Agreed on Hatton's durability. Still, I'd argue that we saw enough in two rounds to say that even a pre-Floyd Hatton would have been in a world of trouble with the latest version of Manny.

And although you don't seem to be one of the worst by any stretch, you've got to realize that calling Hatton "in decline" or "shot" IS taking away from Manny. How can you "punish" a fighter for being insanely dominant against elite opposition? What, so if the fight went eight rounds instead of two, we'd rate the win an "A" instead of a "B" because the extra six rounds would have "proven" Hatton wasn't past it? That doesn't make any sense.

He was as ready as he was ever going to be, he was still prime, and he got run over.

 

From seeing hatton fight paulie I couldnt call ricky prime anymore. based on that fight alone I was concerned about hatton fighting pac. Check my posts on the subject. I didnt see the Hunger and the will in hatton and thats all he had going for him self because he wont that great of a boxer. Rember my posts about barerra having problems with B class fighters? Thats the sighn of a Declining fighter. Prime Hatton shouldnt have had no trouble with putting this clown paulie away.
