I thought he could have put up a better fight. There wasnt that same fire as before.

when he tried to box he was really hopelessly outclassed. That stance he was taking was terrible played right into Stevensons hands he was nearly sqaure on for that left with his chin in the air leaning back. When he started bouncing around and lunging he was a bit better but he only did it late on. He wasnt half aggressive enough in them clinches and just let the referee seperate them every time early on.he shouldnt have tried any kind kind of boxing against stevenson and just go out wild but he is getting on, a lot of milage can he do that anymore.

Nowhere to go now really at 175, Kovalev would murder him, Pascal beats him Beterbiev hammers him.

He was never going to win that fight anyway ref was biased called knockdown which was a slip, let Stevenson throw countless low blows with no warnings. & worst of all stood & watched Stevenson throw 3 rabbit punches one after the other & all he did was warn Bika to keep his head up
Get Stevenson in with Kovalev see what he can do with someone his own size

Lucian Bute and Joe C beat him to peices when he was prime.

Here he is in a weight class higher, facing a more dangerous puncher, at least 5 yrs removed from his best days.

He did as well as could be expected.

Perhaps a little earlier pressure mighta changed the otucome, but he took the 3rd rd and he coulda took the momentum when he had Stevenson in doubt in that rd and started the 4th on fire.
He just didnt have it anymore.

Don't be disappointed. Bikas never been a KO artist. He did what he does, just a bit less and a bit slower than he was 5 yrs ago.:think

I thought the Calzaghe fight was tight enough he was never in bother and was dangerous, lot of tight rounds. I didnt expect him to win but I thought he'd fight a bit harder the event was flat in my opinion. Your right enough I suppose he is getting old and fighting a really hard hitter a weight above, he took enough risks for a man in his position , I just expected him to be a bit more relentless. Was hating stevenson doing all that showboating at the end would loved to have seen him taking out.

Yep, Calzaghe certainly didn't beat up Bika - it was a pretty tough fight for him

He did fine. I would have liked a KO of the pimp but I knew that was a longshot

no I wasn't disappointed with bika as many overate him he is in all honesty a hard working overachieving type in an era of one or two champions per weight class the chances of him being a world champion are slim to none and I doubt he makes it past the lower half of a top ten for longer than a 12 to 18 month period

Wouldnt be su[rised at all if Bute was able to survive til the 10th like he did vs Pascal and then KO Stevenson in brutal fashion.

Bika's just never had real power, up or down. :think

bika at the end of the day is tough and stubborn, and strong enough to hit hard, but ultimately lacks the skill to hit hard consistently or to outbox good boxers.

don't be disappointed in him, its what hes always been. Overacheived massively from his tv show career. A tv show boxer normally shouldn't normally ever get a title shot.
