    The real bad thing is the morning check weight imo. Should have enough time to recover from todays weight cut if he could get on with rehydrating properly. He probably needs to put on 15 or 20 lbs on top of the 160 hes at.

    170 tomorrow morning. 175/180 tomorrow night. Its the time being depleted without getting to that 175/180 number that could end up costing him.

    Agreed. Stuff the rehydration clause - he's been fined once, has probably got a small fortune in the bank to pay off a second one. Rehydrate to the point he feels comfortable, forget the scales. A focused, fit and properly rehydrated Eubank will be too skillfull and powerful for Benn - he will look like the clueless idiot he really is.

    funny how not many thought this would happen untill the weigh in, it was obvious hearn wouldnt let a near healthy eubank fight benn. They wanted him like smith 1 from the start

    He also would not of slept a wink. Awful awful management, perhaps the worst ever. The rehydrating starts now, and the fight is in a few hours!

    If a boxer is dehydrated a few hours before a fight, the ability to absorb hard punches disappears.

    It can be life threatening and that's why I don't like the fight.

    In way over his head.

    We’ve never seen mismanagement like this..
    Jr is the MASSIVE A side yet they’ve given Benn everything!?!

    Should’ve been 70-30 split for Eubank Jr, hometown venue, no rehydration clause, choose gloves, 22 foot ring, not co-promoted, excessive random drug tests for Benn, etc.

    Now Billy Joe will be winding him up when he’s trying to tape his fists, doing everything to try and rattle him. All of a sudden Eddie Hearn has turned into Ambrose Mendy X10, and the irony is he’s Barry’s son! Matchroom are anti-Matchrooming Eubank’s son 35 years later. You couldn’t write it.

    Mendy wasn’t that shrewd though mate, he forgot to secure a rematch for Benn as the champion is his voluntary defence against Senior in their first fight. Hilarious.
