But for Froch fighting in Germany means fighting abroad and for Ward fighting in say New York its still fighting at home even though the distance between Oakland and New York is bigger than the distance between England and Germany.

Ward is probably my favorite fighter in the super six but its not fair that hes the only one who never fights outside his country.

That's a fair point, but nothing is ever going to be totally fair. One American fighter never travels overseas, one European fighter never fights overseas. Yeah, Froch is leaving his country, but the distance between countries isn't that big.

The biggest problem with traveling is getting used to the time difference, staying in a hotel, and dealing with a hostile crowd, and biased judges who are influenced by the crowd.. Ward will have to go to Memphis or Arkansas to fight Taylor. He'll stay in a hotel, he'll have to deal with a hostile crowd, and he'll have to adjust to a 2 hr time difference. Froch will be doing the same when he goes to Germany, except there is only a 1 hr. time difference. In the end, it's a silly point to argue. Traveling from England to Germany is not all that much different from traveling from Cali to Tennessee or Arkansas.

So they should've had a european ref for a fight being held in america? Never in the history.

Kessler could fight Ward on the Moon and he'd still get his head boxed off

A fair ref on the moon or anywhere else wouldn`t have allowed Ward to bust Kesslers face up with his head. That clown ref on saturday should be serving fries somewhere.

They decided to give him two Americans and one Euro fighting away when they thought up the tournament, because Dan Goossen said "Ward will not travel". They could have put him up with Abraham or Froch in their countries, but Goosen insisted not too. It p*ssed everyone off so don't start the "his opponents are American" bullsh**. The fights are promoted by Wards promoter, the crowd is with Ward and Goossen will do everything he can to harrass Taylor and Dirrell come fight time.

I understand what you're saying, but that sounds like it's fixed then. It's like they knew Ward was going to take Kessler's title in advance so they knew they could keep him in the US because he's the champion. That's why Froch is in the UK because he's the champion and the challenger goes to find the champ. That would also explain the so-called weird decision in the Froch v Dirrell fight. Oh my God, what have I started? Call me, conspiracy man. It's probably all coincidence! If Froch wins the tournament - you know it's fixed for sure!

What difference to it makes where they fight? As long as it's a good fight. And don't blame Ward for being allowed to stay at home. When the promoters brought that up - it got fixed with MONEY! That's why he's staying home. He's a fighter and fights where they want him too.

Why not just find the promoter with the most money then simply hand his fighter the belts. :-(

Kessler never was that good to begin with. This is a guy whose claim to fame was losing to Calzaghe and having a cool tattoo. The guy was a basic fighter with a **** resume and he got his ass kicked when he stepped up and wouldn't beat Ward in 100 tries. Deal with it.:hi:
