Shutout for Broner halfway through. Nothing to report on, really. Hutchinson can't get through, and Broner's showing no killer instinct.

This may well still end in a stoppage but it'll be a pathetic referee pity stop, not a sensational one punch KO.

More likely, though, we're heading for a 100-90 and Broner remaining as far away from serious fights as he was yesterday.

 

Broner with flashes of creativity, starting with short uppercuts on the in-step and then left hooks to follow through in rhythm, but Hutchinson just won't go away. Broner inevitably gets bored and his offense sputters out whenever he realizes Hutch won't fold.

Hutch going for it, slinging in a few scimitars at the body with either hand, but Broner just lowers his goalposts to intercept and keeps piecing him up with jabs, straight flurries, and hooks on the head. Hutchinson hurt, sitting on the ropes. Nearly a minute left. Mancini and Campbell demanding that Hutchinson's corner stop it. Hutch has a mouse by his eye. "That's a wrap!" on his vision, says Campbell.

Hutchinson survives.

Hutchinson getting braver, throwing back more, but consequently getting slammed with both of Broner's fists more. Hutchinson shaking off blows and smothering Broner, tying up. Both eyes swollen now, the right very badly. Broner with jabs and croupier stick right hands. Hutchinson standing up to all the head shots well, but Broner goes to the body and Hutchinson starts to wilt. Mancini furious the corner isn't throwing a towel yet.
