Nice slugfest at the end of the ninth. Good fight. Stiverne starting to get beaten up. Bryan is starting to break him down.

    Round 10

Bryan jabbing the head and tiptoeing out of range as Stiverne ducks and rolls forward to pop a pair of alternating-hand dirks into the abdomen. Bryan eats an up-jab while lazily unfurling an octopus tentacle of his own slowly, measuring distance. Stiverne is jabbed on the nose and held steady as Bryan hops in, slashes a hook across the face of Stiverne, and then jumps out again with a parting body shot. The overhand right of Stiverne is being caught now on the back of Bryan's forearm left suspended after he jabs.

    10-9 Bryan

    97-93 Bryan

    I cannot believe

    1. how unexpectedly good this is and
    2. how low our standards have fallen that not only is this HW FOTY so far, it might be top 5 since the start of the pandemic?

Nice. Good win for Bryan. His jab is sharp, man.

    Round 11

Stiverne is caught off guard as Bryan abruptly switches from a light patter of jabs to hammering into his swollen left eye with right crosses. Stiverne down and beats the count but looks shaky. Bryan comes at him, setting up with the jab, looking for one more big right - and lands it. Stiverne down and seemingly out, lying on his back. He beats the count barely, nose bloodied and looking dazed. Allowed to continue but waved off as soon as Bryan starts pounding on him.

    TKO11!

Terrible production. Awful ring announcer who looked like he'd never done this before. Per Florida rules, the ring had to be deep cleaned between every fight ... so they had to show old fights in between current fights.

BUT the three live fights were all good.

I'd rather watch three good fights and bad production ... than a slick production with three mismatches.

    I'll take it.

He's absolute crap, and he'll be sparked out against the first real opponent he faces.

Stiverne needs to retire. Did have a great career? No. But did he give everything he had to the sport? Also No.
