    Round 5

Stiverne is sticking and moving, floating left with both arms down after sniping with the jab. Bryan is lured in and clipped with a hook and scything right delivered from off the ropes before Stiverne hot-foots away. Bryan is enveloped in clinches whenever he jabs in and starts going for Stiverne's body. Stiverne blocks a power combo and hooks a short right into the lower mandible and throat of Bryan.

10-9 Stiverne, close (thought most of Bryan's jabs pushed air, though he threw more and probably got the round from the judges)

    48-47 Stiverne

Hey, I crapped on this fight before hand as much as anyone, and both of these guys are overweight, but this fight is better scrap than Joshua-Pulev.

Can you imagine Stiverne beat him, though? Would have to be a part IV... and then if he won again, we'd need a tiebreaker!

(and even though Wilder in this scenario would be coming off three - likely stoppage - losses, the fight would still generate interest and get made).

    Round 6

Bryan is drawing Stiverne into a ranged contest, his 2" disadvantage in reach becoming a moot point as Stiverne gives him a clear target hunching forward, making the Bryan head jab travel a shorter distance to land than Stiverne's own lunging body jab. Very few chances for Stiverne to land anything big. In fact, it ends up being a right hand from Bryan that gets through clean, almost the lone isolated non-jab to score in this frame.

    10-9 Bryan

    57-57

If Stiverne beats him, he gets the Fury-Joshua winner. But Bryan seems to be outboxing him.
