He does at the moment but Stiverne has that equalizer. Unless he gasses out bad he'll be in this fight until 2:59 of R12.

 

Round 7

Stiverne is stamping the jab between Stiverne's eyes and then jerking away, upper half bobbling a bit above the waist as he waits and gauges Stiverne's reaction. Left hooks up top coming up short as Stiverne pops up on his toes, unable to reach Bryan when he leans back. Stiverne keeps his left arm straightened at his side and shimmies in close past the Bryan jab, and then bangs home with a line drive right. One good shot, not enough to steal it.

King is a scumbag but...I'm kinda glad Charr got clock-blocked. This is a better fight than any Diamond Boy has ever been in.

 

Round 8

Bryan jabbing aggressively, growing bolder and slingshotting himself in behind the double jab to feed Stiverne a right hand now and then. Wild power thrusts by Stiverne, a few of them fairly straight and well aimed but unable to cover the distance as Bryan keeps his feet moving and his neck on a loose, aqeuous swivel. When he steps in with the jab and has to flurry clear of a clinch, Bryan is caught at the very tail end of some of Stiverne's rights, but mostly playing keepaway from him.

Round 9

Stiverne is caught with jabs on the way in and then shoeshined on the belly, causing him to wince and suck wind. Bryan is lingering a bit too close after landing, admiring his work, and Stiverne belts him with a high right hand. Excellent shot - but again, up against so much superior volume from Bryan. Stiverne is plugging right uppercuts into the gut up close, and backs up Bryan with a series of left hooks and short rights on the chin, as Bryan rallies back with some of his own downward power shots.
