DLH: A full circle?

:huh He only fought twice at 130 and 3 times at 140. Oscar was tall for those weights, but it's not like he was packing on 10+ lbs. every fight, something that Cotto has been doing since he was at 140. Oscar fought a good amount of fights at 135, but his two best wins there were against guys who just as tall as him. He also fought plenty of bigger guys at 147,154, and 160. The Forbes and the proposed Pac fights were the only ones where he was cherry picking little guys. Mayweather was smaller and was forced to move up in weight. However, his talent is great enough to overcome size disadvantages.

The reason you hate Oscar is because not only will Margo never be loved or revered as DLH is, he will never be considered as good. It will never, ever happen, and you need to accept this. That and the fact that DLH has never blessed Margo with a payday.

And you want to talk about a guy picking on smaller fighters?? Margarito has only faced guys his size on a few occasions (maybe because he should really be at 154 or 160:think). And the few times he faced someone naturally bigger than him, he lost.

The bottom line is this: Take Bob Arum's tit out of your mouth and Margo's dick out of your ass and see the two fold truth: That DLH has his flaws (like every other fighter and promoter) but deserves respect, and that your behavior on this board has been a whorish display of willful ignorance and embarassing soulessness.

You could have a point, Lance, but I will see this fight still, and if Pinoy-Pac thrashes DLH then the topic is irrelevant.

 

De La Fishnet has fought smaller guys, guys moving up in weight, throughout his career.

In his defense though, he's moved up through weight classes and fought bigger guys or guys more accustomed to fighting at a particular division.

He's not as big of a bully as say, Rocky Graziano.

 

The DLH hatred here is extreme.
