He looks insincere, he doesn't believe in what he's saying.

Oscar always gives that impression, for some reason people always consider him fake.

I agree with Oscar but it all depends on how much he improves from here and it wont be before the year 2013.

Infact if pac remains unbeaten throughout this time i can really see this happening.

Alvarez will be managed perfectly until the time is right.

Im just intrigued as to whether he will actually stay at light middle or get to welter.

Does anyone know if he hs trouble msking the limit?

Can he even get down to WW though? Kid has a thick frame and there has got to be a reason why he doesnt fight there lately.
I think his best option would be to vacate the belt. Become a contender again. In the long run it would be better. If he can get down to 147 then go for a belt there or fight some contenders there saying he wants to work towards a belt.

I really like what i see from him so far so it would be a waste to rush him.

It seems he is alreadygetting to big for 147 since his last fights have been around 150 in a few years when he will definitely be a 154 type fighter, I doubt manny will fight him at 154, only way I see that happening is if he loses before and wants a final shot. Vacating the belt is a option but I dont think Oscar will let him do that, they want to make canelo a big name at the weight I guess, wouldnt be surprised If he fights a guy like cotto in december.

The way i see it is Manny wont be fighting him while he is active.
I have been predicting this for a while. I think Manny will call it "quits" and then come back for more money when he needs it. Its well documented Pac likes to gamble and has leeches all around him who take advantage of his kindness. Specially once he settles in government.

I think he will run low on money not necessarily broke then come back for a money fight and when he does he will be heavier and looking to fight a big name which by then will be Canelo. Canelo obviously being prime and at his weight will unleash the passing of the torch beating all great fighters get.

this guy isn't even remotely near pac's level and class.

he's fighting a c-level fighter in hatton which will be his best opponent yet... let's see him take on a b-level or a-level fighter first before we even consider him ever beating a p4p elite and certified p4p ATG like pac.

Every time Golden Girl Promotions sign up a fighter, they immediately label him "Pac Slayer", then immediately, that guy losses his fight.

The term "broken record" really applies here.
